Two years of failure

When Joe Biden took office, inflation was at 1.4%, gas prices were at $2.39 per gallon, real wages were positive, the border was secure, and the Taliban did not control Afghanistan.

Two years in and American families are poorer and less safe than when Biden took office.

Americans are poorer:

• Year-over-year real wages have been negative for 21 months.
• Inflation has been at or above 5% for 20 months.
• Gas prices have been above $3 per gallon for almost 20 months.
• American families are poorer, with less real disposable income than when Biden took office.

Americans are less safe:

• The crisis at the border is the worst ever recorded.
• Fentanyl smuggled by the cartels is killing Americans at record rates.
• Rising crime rates, especially in Democrat-run cities, threaten families.
• The Taliban control Afghanistan, and terrorists bent on attacking the U.S. are emboldened.

Thankfully, we now have a House Republican majority dedicated to unleashing American energy and protecting our reserves, to empowering parents in the classroom, to securing our border, and to ending the wasteful government policies that sent inflation surging.

By every metric, including his own, Biden has failed.
