Biden’s 90-day COVID review will not get Americans the answers they deserve.

Biden’s Principal Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre admitted as much this afternoon. When asked how they’ll actually get to the bottom of where COVID-19 came from, she said, “We're just going to continue to work with W.H.O. and W.H.O. is going to continue to work with China.”

As a reminder, this is the same W.H.O. which literally was “taking [China’s] word for it,” with a lead investigator claiming “what else can we do.”

Biden wants the WHO to lead the investigation into whether COVID came from a Wuhan lab.

The WHO’s lead investigator admitted he took China’s word on COVID’s origins, saying:

This is who Biden wants in charge!?

In recent days, the administration has repeatedly said they are going to defer to “international bodies” to lead the investigation. And in announcing Biden’s 90-day review, the administration:

Refused to say if Biden has confronted Xi Jinping on COVID’s origins and his regime’s lack of transparency.
Couldn’t name any action Biden would take to get answers if China obstructs COVID investigators (like they have been doing).
Failed to say if China would face “penalties” if they continue their obstruction.

If Biden wanted a real investigation, he would insist China grant access to American scientists, but instead, he is deferring to an organization that covered repeatedly for his best buddy, brutal communist dictator Xi Jinping.

Americans deserve better.
