It’s day 20 … Where are the border apprehension numbers for September?
For those keeping track at home, this is the latest monthly border numbers have been released in the last 5 years.
Why the delay in the numbers? Early indications are that they are terrible. According to reporting from the Washington Post, 192,000 immigrants were apprehended at the border in September. That would be 3.3x the average September from 2017 – 2020.
Meanwhile, Biden has not answered a question on the border since September 21.
In both July and August, immigration officials apprehended over 200,000 illegal immigrants. In October, officials are expecting as many as 400,000 illegal encounters. The American people deserve official numbers from the Biden administration so they can judge the severity of Biden’s crisis.
No matter how hard the Biden administration tries, they can’t hide, obstruct, and lie their way out of this crisis – the visuals at the border are too powerful and too devastating. Biden needs to fix the crisis he created or “get out of the way.”
