Yes, Democrats Shut Down The Government For Illegals

Democrats blocked Republicans' CLEAN continuing resolution that would have kept the government open and instead demanded $1.5 trillion for their radical wish list that includes repealing the section in Republicans' One, Big, Beautiful Bill that ends taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegals.

And while Democrat Senators like Ruben Gallego (AZ) are still cashing their checks, they are leaving our troops payless and playing politics with the lives of veterans, seniors, law enforcement, and other Americans who did not want this. 
 

Medicaid reform in the OBBB was popular amongst Americans:

• 72% favor requiring able-bodied, working-age adults who receive Medicaid to at least look for work or participate in community service part-time
• 68% favor strengthening Medicaid eligibility integrity, which would require states to better screen enrollees and to immediately end coverage of people who are ineligible
