Yes, The Border Crisis Arose Overnight

Last night, Joe Biden claimed “our problems at the border didn’t arise overnight” — except they did.

On his first day in office, Biden:  

• Halted border wall construction 
• Paused all deportations 
• Suspended “Remain in Mexico” 
• Ordered ICE to limit arrests and deportations 
• Preserved Obama’s illegal amnesty program 
• Proposed amnesty for MILLIONS of illegal immigrants 

Two weeks later, Biden suspended the “safe third country” agreements and took the first step to repeal the “public charge” rule.

These actions came after a campaign in which Biden — and his running mate Kamala Harris — practically begged illegal immigrants to come to the border. Biden and Harris: 

• Promised a deportation moratorium
• Vowed to “close down” detention centers
• Pledged government funded health care for illegal immigrants
• Supported decriminalizing border crossings
• Called illegal immigration a “gift”
• Told illegal immigrants to “surge to the border”

What is the result? The calamity we’re all witnessing.  

That’s why RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel led a contingent to the border yesterday to call out Biden for causing this crisis.

So don’t be fooled by Biden’s supposed 180 on the border. Biden doesn’t want to “limit” illegal immigration. 

If Biden did, he would reverse his actions that opened the border.
