Zohran Mamdani Is Lying About His Anti-Police Agenda

New York Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani is anti-police and anti-law and order.

He is also lying to NYC voters about where he stands.
 


 

Not only has Mamdani insulted and denigrated law enforcement, he has called to defund the police many times, and is brazenly flaunting endorsements by anti-police organizations.

Here are just a few examples of Mamdani's anti-police rhetoric:

  • “I am in favor of defunding the police”
  • “We want to defund the police”
  • “NYPD is racist, anti-queer & a major threat to public safety"
  • “Queer liberation means defund the police”
  • “We need a socialist city council to defund the police”
  • “Defund the police & build a socialist New York”

A few of the anti-police organizations whose endorsements Mamdani has touted:

  • New York Communities for Change: “We gonna defund NYPD”
  • New York Progressive Action Network: worked to defund NYPD by $1 billion
  • VOCAL Action Fund: A group that wants to “move resources away from police”
  • MoveOn: “Defund the police”
  • Roots Action: “Defund the police”

Zohran wants to siphon $605 million from “existing programs” to fund his so-called “Department of Community Safety.”  We all know what that means: defunding the police.

Mamdani even wants to disband the NYPD Strategic Response Group, the same heroes who responded to the deadly New York Shooting. He will turn New York City into a lawless, out-of-control disaster, and Democrats are cheering him on.
