As Democrats Attack The Election Process, Republicans Are Fighting For Election Integrity At Every Turn

WHILE DEMOCRATS ARE ENGAGED IN A NATIONWIDE EFFORT TO DELEGITIMIZE AMERICAN ELECTIONS, REPUBLICANS ARE FIGHTING BACK

  • Democrats are currently attempting a partisan power grab with their radical H.R. 1/S. 1 “For The Politicians” Act.
  • As Democrats attack election integrity, Republicans are fighting back.
    • The RNC created an Election Integrity Committee which is fighting to restore election transparency and confidence in future elections and is building the largest Election Integrity Operation, with dedicated election integrity staff across the country.
  • While Democrats push H.R. 1/S. 1, Republican states are passing legislation that ensures elections are free, fair, and transparent.

GEORGIA’S NEW ELECTION INTEGRITY LAW MADE IT EASIER TO VOTE

  • Despite Democrats’ false narrative, the new Georgia election integrity law expands voting opportunities for Georgia voters.
  • Georgia Senate Bill 202 is a comprehensive election reform law that creates a more transparent, efficient, and effective election process. It:
    • Expands the number of early voting days and mandates an additional day of early voting on Saturday.
    • Allows observation of the tabulation, scanning, and duplication of ballots.
    • Allows voters to continue to vote absentee with no excuse.
    • Provides reasonable voter ID requirements when applying for and returning absentee ballots, by allowing a voter to use their Driver’s License number, last four digits of their Social Security number, or a copy of another acceptable form of identification.
    • Prohibits ballot harvesting and protects the security of the ballot by prohibiting anyone other than an immediate family member from being in possession of a voters’ ballot.
  • Democrat lies about the Georgia election integrity law led to boycotts of the state, the relocation of the MLB All-Star game, and millions in lost revenue for the state’s small businesses.

ARIZONA REPUBLICANS MADE IT HARDER TO CHEAT

  • Arizonans understand how to run their own elections, recently passing election integrity laws that make their elections more secure and more transparent.
  • Senate Bill 1485 and House Bill 2569 are common-sense election reforms that streamline the voting process.
  • Governor Doug Ducey (R) signed both of these common-sense bills into law after their successful passage through Arizona’s Republican-led state legislature.

IOWA REPUBLICANS BOLSTERED TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY IN THEIR ELECTIONS

  • Iowa recently enacted a comprehensive election reform law to ensure elections are secure.
  • Senate File 413:
    • Establishes uniform election procedures across Iowa’s 99 counties.
    • Allows for the pre-processing of absentee ballots, including the opening of envelopes and tabulation the Monday before the election.
    • Provides reasonable regulations for the use of absentee ballot drop boxes.
    • Further restricts ballot harvesting in the state.
    • Enhances Iowa’s voter registration list maintenance practices by requiring more frequent verification of registrations and reporting to state legislature.
  • Governor Kim Reynolds (R) praised the legislation for “strengthen[ing] uniformity” and the steps it takes to “promote more transparency and accountability, giving Iowans even greater confidence to cast their ballot.”
