Biden Is Bringing His Build Back Broke Agenda Of Rising Prices, Rising Crime Rates, And Critical Race Theory To Wisconsin

BIDEN WANTS TO BUILD WISCONSIN BACK BROKE

Today, Biden is in Superior, Wisconsin to tout his radical “Build Back Broke” agenda.
- Biden will be joined by Democrat Governor Tony Evers, another failed leader who has put the interests of teachers unions over parents and students.
Wisconsin small businesses are suffering as a result of Biden and Democrats, with inflation at a 40 year high while a wave of crime is sweeping the state.
- Wisconsinites recognize Biden’s failed leadership, with 56 percent disapproving of the job he has done in office.
- Evers is also unpopular, with only 40 percent of voters planning to vote for him this fall.
Despite these crises, Biden continues to push his “Build Back Broke” agenda, falsely claiming that it will not add to inflation, is “fully paid for,” and will not raise taxes on middle-class families across Wisconsin.
- Economists across the political spectrum warn the bill would “fuel inflation,” slam the middle class, and is not “paid for.”

BIDENFLATION HITS WISCONSIN

Nationally, consumer prices have risen by 7.5 percent compared to last year – marking the largest annual increase in 40 years.
- Wisconsin has seen costs rise faster than the national average, with consumer prices rising by 7.9 percent throughout the Midwest since last year.
Economists believe it may take until 2024 for Wisconsin prices to level off.
Wisconsinites are also feeling the pain at the pump as Wisconsin’s gas prices are at their highest in at least seven years, up over a $1 per gallon since Biden took office.
- Head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy Patrick DeHaan said Wisconsin gas prices could “go up by 25 to as much as 75 cents between now and Memorial Day.”
Home prices are on the rise in Wisconsin, up 10 percent since last January, making housing less affordable.
Wisconsin small businesses are feeling the brunt of rising prices.
- Mahly’s Deli in Milwaukee is being forced to raise prices just six months after opening, with owner Joseph Hazelwood Jr. saying he had “no choice but to pass along the price.”
- Conor Di Persio, owner of Café Brittoli in Madison: “Every year it's kind of normal for like some things. Maybe they go up a quarter, 50 cents. But we were spending $13 per bacon; it's now $26. Vanilla extract was 16 bucks. That got up to $36.”
- Liz Rehberg, owner of The Bakery in Green Bay: “We’ve seen things like flour jump up a significant amount. My flour normally costs $14 for 50 pounds and now it’s $24. That cost hadn’t changed in years and now all of a sudden it almost doubles.”

WISCONSIN PARENTS ARE TIRED OF CRT IN SCHOOLS

Biden and Democrats don’t care about children as they closed schools, forced masks on preschoolers, limit school choice and allow critical race theory (CRT) to be taught.
- On Biden’s first day in office, he rescinded President Trump’s executive order banning critical race theory training in the federal government
- The Biden administration even solicited a letter from the National School Boards Association that compared concerned parents to domestic terrorists.
In Wisconsin it is no different with Evers as governor – Evers recently vetoed a bill that would have banned critical race theory from being taught in Wisconsin schools.
- Evers also plans to veto the “Parents Bill Of Rights” that would give parents a right to have a say in their children’s education.

TONY EVERS IS FAILING WISCONSIN

Tony Evers has failed Wisconsin as crime is on the rise and jobs are failing to come back due to his weak COVID leadership.
Milwaukee saw a record 197 homicides in Milwaukee in 2021, while homicides in 2022 are already outpacing the record numbers from last year.
- If homicides continue at this rate, this will be three consecutive years homicide rates have increased in Milwaukee under Evers’ watch.
Evers has failed to condemn cashless bail that allows criminals to walk free with no repercussions for their crimes.
Evers vetoed a bill that would have punished communities that defund the police.
Evers has strongly opposed expanding Wisconsin’s School Choice program, siding with government bureaucrats over parents time and time again.
