Mandela Barnes And John Fetterman Are Far-Left Extremists, Supporting Policies That Will Only Hurt Workers, Families, And Small Businesses

BARNES AND FETTERMAN’S RADICAL AGENDA WILL HURT EVERYDAY AMERICANS

• Today, Biden is traveling to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to drive up support for Senate Democrat nominees amid shrinking support for his radical agenda.
• As Lieutenant Governors, Mandela Barnes and John Fetterman have overseen rising crime and drug overdose deaths reaching new heights.
• Barnes helped found the Wisconsin Working Families Party, a radical organization that advances extreme ideas including defund the police and biological men competing in women’s sports.
  • Barnes has even touted the endorsement of a far-left Wisconsin state representative that praised convicted cop killer Assata Shakur.
• Fetterman is just as radical, having previously campaigned on bringing Bernie Sanders’ far-left agenda to Pennsylvania.
  • Fetterman’s persona of being a “everyman” and “blue-collar tough guy” is a lie; after his “incredibly privileged” upbringing his “main source of income” well into his 40s came from an allowance his parents provided him.
• These radical Senate candidates support Democrats’ recently passed Bidenflation Scam bill that will raise taxes on Americans during a recession and increase IRS audits on small businesses and working families.

MANDELA BARNES WANTS TO MAKE WISCONSIN AND AMERICA LESS SAFE

• Mandela Barnes wants to make Wisconsin less safe, pushing for the elimination of cash bail and expressing support for defunding the police.
  • Barnes said “it pains me” to see fully-funded police budgets and called for defunding "over-bloated" police departments.
  • Barnes said he is "constantly pushing on a reduction of spending on corrections" and "wish[es] we could accelerate" releasing violent criminals from prison.
  • Barnes tried to downplay how radical defunding police is, saying “defunding isn’t necessarily as aggressive as a lot of folks paint it… the minute you talk about reducing a police department’s budget, then it’s like all hell breaks loose.”
• Despite Barnes’ critical comments on the police, he receives a personal security detail from the Wisconsin State Patrol for an average of more than 13.5 hours per day, including for personal campaign events – costing taxpayers more than $600,000 in just three years. 
• Barnes claimed it is “unfortunate” that people in prison do not have the right to vote.
• Barnes has failed to address Biden’s border crisis that is sending illegal immigrants and deadly fentanyl across the Badger state.
  • Barnes wants to abolish ICE and wants to provide “driver's licenses” and “in-state college tuition” for illegal immigrants.

KEYSTONE STATE FAMILIES ARE LESS SAFE BECAUSE OF JOHN FETTERMAN

• John Fetterman has made Pennsylvania less safe as Lieutenant Governor, supporting soft-on-crime policies and even going so far as to call for “reimaging the police.”
  • Fetterman put a record number of criminals back on the street through his position on the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons, at one point even threatening and bullying board members who didn’t agree.
• Fetterman’s soft-on-crime “activism” doesn’t stop there, having called for other radical policies such as releasing one-third of Pennsylvania’s prison population and ending “life without parole” for many murderers, claiming these policies would “not make anyone less safe.”
  • Fetterman has also supported taxpayer-funded drug dens and “decriminalizing [drugs] across the board,” including heroin.
  • 13 sheriffs from across Pennsylvania have called out Fetterman’s soft-on-crime policies, highlighting how they contribute to rising crime.
• Fetterman endorsed Philadelphia’s district attorney Larry Krasner who has a history of emboldening dangerous criminals.
  • After taking office, Krasner fired 31 veteran prosecutors and eliminated cash bail for many offenses, including theft, resisting arrest, and burglary.

BARNES WOULD MAKE ENERGY MORE EXPENSIVE FOR WISCONSIN FAMILIES

• Barnes openly supports the radical “Green New Deal,” but says that “we have to think so much deeper and so much broader.”
• Gas prices reached a record high of $4.92 per gallon in June, and Wisconsinites are still paying $1.30 more for gas today than when Biden took office, but Barnes says he is “not a fan of pipelines” that make it easier to transport oil and gas.

FETTERMAN WOULD HELP BIDEN WAGE WAR ON PENNSYLVANIA’S ENERGY INDUSTRY

• Pennsylvania is the second-largest natural gas producer in America, yet Biden and Fetterman have waged war on the Keystone State’s fracking industry.
• Fetterman wants to destroy the Pennsylvania energy industry, killing hundreds of thousands of middle-class jobs in the process.
• Fetterman called the Pennsylvania fracking industry a “stain” on the state and said, “if we did things right in this state, we wouldn’t have fracking.”
• Fetterman repeatedly has called for a ban on fracking.
  • In 2018, Fetterman claimed: “No, I don’t support fracking at all, and I never have.”
  • In 2018, Fetterman said: “I don’t support fracking. I think it’s something that has to eventually go away and I would like to see it transition out.”
  • In 2016, Fetterman signed a pledge to ban fracking across Pennsylvania.
• A fracking ban would kill a total of 609,000 Pennsylvania jobs while taking $261 billion out of the state’s economy.
• Fetterman has praised Biden for canceling the Keystone pipeline, which killed 11,000 jobs, saying he “made the right call.”
• Pennsylvanians are already suffering from Biden’s war on American energy as utility prices in the state increased up to 45 percent in June alone and gas prices reached a record high of $5.07 per gallon.
  • Currently, residents are paying nearly $1.30 more per gallon of gas and over $2.25 more per gallon of diesel than before Biden took office.

BARNES OPENLY SUPPORTS FAR-LEFT RACE THEORY, GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE, AND PACKING THE COURT

• Barnes chaired a government climate change task force that recommended “implementing an anti-racism education curriculum across government entities” and that “racism was linked to climate change.”
  • This report even claimed that “systemic racism remains embedded in our social structures” and that Americans racial literacy is “depressingly low.”
• Barnes said the founding of America was “awful,” “things were bad.”
• Barnes has defended critical race theory being taught in school.
• Barnes absurdly suggested national parks are racist, saying “national parks weren’t made for the enjoyment of people who weren’t white” and that this was the case because “national parks are on land that was indigenous.”
• Barnes “absolutely” supports government-run single payer healthcare and Bernie Sanders’ Medicare for All.
• Barnes has called for abolishing the filibuster and packing the Supreme Court with far-left activist justices.

FETTERMAN SUPPORTS WOKE GENDER IDEOLOGY

• Fetterman answered “yes” when asked if biological males should be allowed to play in women’s sports.
  • A Franklin & Marshall College poll found 64 percent of registered Pennsylvania voters support laws that restrict biological men from competing in women’s sports.
• Fetterman even recruited radical gender theory activist Val Arkoosh to help his campaign.
  • Arkoosh has regularly called restricting “gender-affirming” surgeries for children and protecting women’s sports a “gross violation” of “human rights.”
• The Pennsylvania Department of Education – under the Wolf-Fetterman administration – suggests woke “gender neutral pronouns” for students such as “ne, ve, ze/zie and xe.”
  • Under Fetterman and Wolf, the state Department of Education advocates for a “gender neutral day” where students will pick two or three ways they will reject gender stereotypes and challenge gender norms.
