- Republicans made inroads in the Asian American community under the Trump administration, with a 7 percent shift toward Republicans from 2016 to 2020.
- This was even greater in the Vietnamese American community, experiencing a 14 percent shift toward Republican candidates from 2016 to 2020.
- In New York, Republicans recently formed the NYGOP Asian Caucus to stand with the Asian American community and advocate for a growing base of Asian American conservatives.
BIDEN AND DEMOCRATS’ POLICIES ARE FAILING ASIAN AMERICANS
- Biden and Democrats are failing Asian Americans.
- Biden has squandered the economic recovery he inherited, with Asian Americans seeing rising prices for nearly everything.
- At a time when Americans are paying more for “just about everything,” Biden wants to slam Americans with even more reckless taxes and spending.
- 83 percent of Asian Americans with high school degrees in California filed for unemployment during the pandemic, more than double the rate of the rest of California’s labor force.
- Instead of providing real solutions, all Biden can do is pander and mock Asian Americans.
- Biden has used racial tropes to describe Indian Americans, mimicking an Indian accent to describe call centers and claiming “you cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.”
- Biden asked Andrew Yang what he would do if he was “emperor” and referred to Singaporean leader Li Kuan Yew as “the wisest man in the Orient.”
