Biden’s Support Among Black Americans Has Plummeted As They Pay The Price For Biden’s Radical Agenda, Vaccine Mandates, And Soft-On-Crime Policies

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS ENGAGING BLACK AMERICANS

  • The Republican National Committee (RNC) is celebrating Black History Month by continuing to engage with the Black community and welcome new members into our Party of opportunity.
  • For the 2022 cycle, the RNC has made a multimillion-dollar commitment to continue our strategic minority engagement efforts, including in Black American communities across the country.
    • Last year, the RNC formally opened two Black American community centers in Ohio and Georgia.
    • The RNC is scheduled to open more Black American community centers in states like Florida, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.
  • A record number of Black Republicans are both running for office and winning elections at all levels.
    • There are over 40 Black Republicans running in GOP primaries for both local and federal office in 2022.
  • This commitment is not new; the Republican Party has a long history of electing Black leaders and empowering Black Americans through historic firsts.
    • In 1870, Republican Hiram Revels (R-MS) became the first Black American to serve in Congress as a U.S. Senator.
    • That same year, Republican Joseph H. Rainey (R-SC) became the first Black American member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
    • In 1879, Republican Blanche K. Bruce (R-MS) became the first Black American to preside over the U.S. Senate.
    • In 2013, Tim Scott (R-SC) became the first Black American to serve in both chambers of Congress.
    • In 2020, Republican Mark Robinson became the first Black American elected Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina.
    • In 2022, Republican Winsome Sears became the first Black female to serve as Virginia’s Lieutenant Governor.

REPUBLICANS ARE MAKING INROADS AS BIDEN’S SUPPORT AMONG BLACK AMERICANS IS FALLING

  • Biden’s radical policies have hurt the Black community, leading to Black voters increasingly rejecting Biden – and the Democrat Party – for failing to best represent their interests.
    • According to a recent AP-NORC poll, Biden's presidential job approval has plummeted 34 points with Black Americans.
    • According to a recent NBC poll, Biden’s support from Black Americans has dropped 19 points since April.
  • Not only have Biden’s policies failed Black Americans, but they come on top of nearly half a century of racist and racially insensitive remarks from Biden.
  • Meanwhile, Republicans are committed to the Black community and continue to welcome new members into our Party of opportunity.

BIDEN’S FAILED ECONOMY LEAVES BLACK AMERICANS BEHIND

  • Black Americans are being left behind in Biden’s economy, burdened with higher prices and lower wages when accounting for inflation.
  • In November, more than half of Black Americans reported struggling to pay their bills on time, a sharp 17 point increase from just this past summer.
  • Labor shortages across the country have caused Black-owned small businesses to struggle with staffing.
  • Bidenflation is hitting minorities hardest, with Black Americans forced to spend more of their of their paycheck on energy and food.
  • Under the Biden administration, homeownership among Black Americans has declined.

BIDEN’S VACCINE MANDATE TARGETS THE BLACK COMMUNITY

  • Biden supports Democrat vaccine mandates, which have disproportionality hit the Black community.
  • In America’s three largest cities – all run by Democrats – roughly 50 percent of Black residents are currently banned from going to restaurants, bars, and movie theaters.
  • The vaccine mandate has also hurt Black-owned businesses.
  • Biden’s forced vaccine mandate is unpopular among Black Americans, with Biden’s approval rate dropping 12 points among Black Americans since its rollout.

BLACK AMERICANS ARE DISPROPORTIONATELY AFFECTED BY RISING CRIME

  • In Biden’s America crime is on the rise, often disproportionally impacting Black Americans in Democrat-run cities across the country.
    • In 2021, Democrat-run Chicago experienced its deadliest year from violent crime in over two decades.
  • Biden’s open border policies have allowed drugs like fentanyl to pour into American communities, further contributing to the drug epidemic that has plagued minority communities.
  • As crime rates surge across the nation, Democrat officials are astonishingly still pushing to defund the police.
