Today, Biden is visiting Chicago to speak at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers convention to tout his radical agenda that has cost thousands of jobs amid historic price increases.
Crime has exploded in just the last few months around the city, with thefts up 70 percent, burglaries up 36 percent, and motor vehicle thefts up 43 percent.
RISING PRICES HURT FAMILIES ACROSS ILLINOIS
As Illinois families and small businesses are suffering from surging crime, Democrats’ inflationary agenda has added to the pain felt across the state.
Nationally, April’s Consumer Price Index surged by 8.3 percent compared to last year.
Illinois has seen costs rise, with consumer prices in the Midwest rising by 8.2 percent since last year.
Inflation is costing the average Illinois family $594 per month according to an estimate from Congress’ Joint Economic Committee.
With inflation at a 40-year high, farmers are struggling to “just break even” as production costs outpace commodity prices and Biden continues to do nothing to solve the crisis.
30 percent of farmers experienced difficulty purchasing crop inputs due to Biden’s supply chain crisis according to Purdue’s Center for Commercial Agriculture.
Glyphosate, the active ingredient in in one of America’s most widely used weed killers, is up 250 percent from a year ago in part because of “supply chain challenges” Biden promised to fix.
Biden has imposed burdensome regulations on American farmers and ranchers by expanding the federal government’s definition of the Waters of the United States (WOTUS) Rule.
