Bidenflation Is Only Getting Worse

INFLATION KEEPS GETTING WORSE

Under Biden, worsening inflation is making it increasingly difficult for Americans to make ends meet.
- As prices continue to rise and many store shelves are empty, consumer sentiment has now plummeted to a new “decade-long low.”
March’s Consumer Price Index surged by 8.5 percent compared to last year – exceeding economists’ expectations and reaching a new 40-year high.
- Core consumer prices – excluding food and energy – rose by 6.5 percent since last year, the largest increase since August 1982.
- Real average hourly earnings fell 2.7 percent in March, with rising prices eating up any wage growth.
March’s Producer Price Index rose by 11.2 percent since last year, the highest increase on record.
- This is the twelfth consecutive month producer price increases have hit record highs.
- Core producer prices – which takes out food and energy – also increased at a near record 9.2 percent pace.
The Personal Consumption Expenditures(PCE) price index – a key measure of inflation – spiked 6.4 percent from a year ago, the largest increase in 40 years.
Gas prices hit a record high last month, and Americans are still paying an average of $4.08 per gallon.
On top of the price increases Americans have already had to endure, food is set to get more expensive this year, with the USDA forecasting that “all food prices are now predicted to increase between 4.5 and 5.5%” in 2022.

AMERICANS FEEL THE PINCH OF RISING PRICES

American families will be forced to spend an extra $5,200 this year because of Biden’s inflation tax according to a Bloomberg estimate.
To cope, Americans are starting to cut back “on mainstays from toothpaste to baby formula.”
Retirees have no choice but to re-enter the workforce “because the prices of food are triple of what they were.”
83 percent of Americans report being either a great deal or a fair amount worried about inflation, with mentions of inflation as the nation’s most important problem at their highest level since 1985.
26 percent of small businesses report inflation as the number one problem their business faces – the highest level since 1981.

CONSUMERS ARE PAYING THE PRICE

Restaurants are adding inflation fees to diners’ checks to offset the costs of inflation.
Ride-share companies like Uber and Lyft have added a fuel surcharge to trips and food delivery.
According to a Bank of America study, rural households and people of color “are getting hit the hardest” by Bidenflation.
- Households without a college degree and lower-income families have also been hit hard by rising prices.
With Easter approaching, Americans can expect to pay more for their holiday essentials.
- Many Easter items have increased in price including eggs (+11.2 percent), ham (+14.6 percent), and candy (+7.6 percent).
Jewish American may have a hard time finding meat for Passover as supermarkets and butchers are facing a “nationwide kosher poultry shortage.”
- A kosher grocery shop in Atlanta, Georgia issued a notice to its customers warning of empty shelves for Passover amid “supply chain issues” and rising “transportation costs.”

BIDEN AND DEMOCRATS DON’T CARE

Biden and Democrats are out of touch as they continue to dismiss the inflation crisis hurting families across the country.
- In July, Biden said price increases were “expected to be temporary,” there is “nobody suggesting there’s unchecked inflation on the way,” and that “it’s highly unlikely that it’s going to be long-term inflation that’s going to get out of hand.”
- In December, Biden said inflation was at its “peak” and that it should soon decline rapidly.
- In February, Biden said “We're in a situation now where you should have peace of mind.”
Now, Biden and Democrats are trying to downplay rising prices by blaming the war in Ukraine.
- Former Obama economic advisor Larry Summers says Biden was “wrong” to blame inflation on the war, “this is a consequence, fundamentally, of an overheated economy.”
- Since Biden’s $1.9 trillion “stimulus” was passed, inflation has outpaced wages every single month.
- Inflation has been at 5 percent or higher for 11 straight months and gas prices were already up $1.14 before Putin invaded.
In an attempt to relate to struggling Americans, Biden has claimed he “grew up in a family where the price at the pump was felt in the kitchen,” however this was a complete lie since the “price of gasoline was flat” throughout Biden’s childhood.

BIDEN WANTS MORE INFLATIONARY SPENDING

A new report from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco found what 70 percent of Americans already know – Biden’s $1.9 trillion boondoggle fueled inflation.
In March, Biden unveiled his budget for FY 2023, a $5.8 trillion spending spree chocked full of wasteful spending and higher taxes which would further fuel inflation.
On top of Biden’s trillion-dollar spending spree, Biden is still attempting to pass his radical Build Back Broke agenda which he falsely claims will “lower inflationary pressures on the economy.”
- Numerous economists have warned that more spending could lead to even higher inflation which will make life harder for middle and lower-class Americans.
