MANY AMERICANS ARE BEING LEFT BEHIND IN BIDEN’S ECONOMY

• The reality of the Biden economy is not what Democrats and many in the mainstream media are claiming it is, with far too many Americans out of work and struggling to get by.   
• In Biden’s economy, businesses around the country can’t find workers to fill jobs even though there are nearly 9 million Americans unemployed.
  • This is 3 million more unemployed Americans than before the pandemic began.
• 5.7 million, or 25 percent, of the jobs lost since the beginning of the pandemic have still not been recovered.
  • 5.2 million Americans were unable to work in July because their employer was closed or had lost business because of the pandemic.
  • 4.5 million Americans are working part-time for economic reasons.
  • 3.5 million American workers have been unemployed for more than half a year.
• At the current pace, we will not recover all the jobs lost during the pandemic until February 2022.
• At a time when businesses are re-opening, and workers are getting their jobs back, Biden wants to smother the recovery, and is saying he’s open to more restrictions and bringing back lockdowns.

REPUBLICAN POLICIES ARE LEADING THE RECOVERY, WHILE BIDEN AND DEMOCRATS ARE HOLDING IT BACK

• Republican Governors are ending Biden and Democrats’ policy of paying Americans more not to work, one reason why red states are beating blue states in recovering jobs.
  • Through June, 17 of the top 20 states for recovering jobs from the pandemic are led by Republican Governors.
  • 15 of the top 20 states with the lowest unemployment rates are led by Republican Governors.
• While Republicans are leading the way in getting workers back on the job, Biden and Democrats support paying Americans not to work.
  • 1.8 million out-of-work Americans turned down jobs because the “enhanced” unemployment payments are so high.
  • 49 percent of small business owners report having job openings they are unable to fill.
  • Mom-and-Pop businesses are struggling to find workers due to this labor shortage Biden has caused.
  • Biden doesn’t seem to care about these businesses, telling them to “compete” with the government paying people not to work.

RISING PRICES ARE HURTING FAMILIES, WORKERS, AND SMALL BUSINESSES

• As American workers and small businesses are still struggling to recover, families are facing rising prices for everyday goods.
  • Consumer prices jumped 5.4 percent annually in June, surpassing expectations by rising at the highest rate since 2008.
  • Core consumer prices rose 4.5 percent in June, the largest increase in nearly 30 years.
  • Producer prices rose 7.3 percent in June, the third month in a row the index reached a new record high and “another sign that inflation is moving at a faster pace than markets had anticipated.
  • For all Americans, their paychecks and the money in their pockets are worth less and less.
• Economists forecast that if nothing changes, rising prices are “here to stay for years.” 
• Now is not the time for Biden and Democrats’ trillions in reckless tax hikes and new spending, which would create even more inflation.
