Biden’s Middle East Failure

Biden’s Middle East Policy Is To Beg The Saudis For Oil, Cave To The Iranians, And Fail To Stand Up For Israel

BIDEN’S MIDDLE EAST TRIP WILL PRIORITIZE THE NEEDS OF EVERYONE BUT THE U.S.

  • Today Biden began his four-day trip to the Middle East where he will meet with leaders from Israel, the West Bank, Saudi Arabia, and the broader Gulf Cooperation Council.
    • This trip was originally tacked onto Biden’s European travel last month, but the White House felt it would be “crazy” and “unnecessarily taxing” for the 79-year-old president.
  • Biden’s actions leading up to this trip have made it clear that he will not prioritize America and her allies.

RATHER THAN PRIORITIZE AMERICAN ENERGY, BIDEN WILL BEG SAUDI ARABIA FOR OIL

  • Biden has tried to hide the true reason for visiting Saudi Arabia: to beg the Saudis to pump more oil.
  • Biden has looked everywhere but the U.S. for solutions to high gas prices.
    • Senior Biden administration officials traveled to Venezuela to enter discussions with the illegitimate, criminal Maduro regime to pump more oil.
    • Biden’s Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg admitted buying oil from Iran is “on the table.”
    • Last summer when gas prices began to increase, Biden asked OPEC and its allies to boost production, and is now asking again.
  • Since announcing his trip to Saudi Arabia, the White House has tried to downplay the idea that he is going to beg OPEC members to pump more oil.

BIDEN WILL DO ANYTHING TO RE-ENTER THE DISASTROUS IRAN NUCLEAR DEAL

  • Biden is hellbent on rejoining the disastrous Iran Nuclear Deal.
    • Iran’s “breakout time”—the time needed to produce enough fissile material for a nuclear weapon—is now at “zero.”
  • Biden has spent his presidency tripping over himself to get back into the Iran deal, providing the world’s largest state sponsor of terror with concession after concession.
    • In an effort to entice Iran to rejoin the nuclear deal, the State Department announced it was waiving sanctions on Iran’s “civilian” nuclear program.
    • Biden has failed to enforce sanctions that prohibit Iranian oil imports into China.
    • The administration exempted talks about the Iran deal from America’s diplomatic boycott of Putin’s regime.
    • The Biden administration is reportedly considering removing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps from the terror blacklist.
  • As Biden bends over backwards for Iran, our enemies are openly bragging about how great the Iran Nuclear Deal is for them.
    • Russia’s lead negotiator in the talks, Mikhail Ulyanov, said that “Iran got much more than it could expect” in negotiations.
  • Through his desperation to rejoin the deal, Biden has chosen to ignore our closest ally in the region, Israel, who has serious concerns over the U.S. reentering the deal.
  • Biden has falsely blamed the Trump administration for the rise in Iran’s nuclear power rather than his own policies.
    • According to one U.N. watchdog, Iran has been enriching large amounts of uranium and has been withholding footage of its monitoring in nuclear sites since 2021.

THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION HAS FAILED TO STRONGLY STAND WITH ISRAEL
