Biden’s Worst Jobs Report Yet

THE WORST JOBS REPORT OF THE YEAR

The economy added just 210,000 jobs in November, less than half the number economists had predicted.
- This is the worst jobs report of the year – November saw the fewest jobs return since Biden took office.
- In three of the past four months, the economy added far fewer jobs than expected.
- The economy is still 8.2 million jobs below the pre-pandemic trend.
Just this week, Biden falsely claimed America is seeing “record economic growth,” yet this jobs report, historic inflation, the supply chain crisis, and an underwhelming third-quarter GDP prove otherwise.
As Americans head into the holiday season, they are facing higher prices for gifts, empty shelves, longer waits, and higher costs to heat their homes.
Meanwhile, Biden and Democrats are pushing their “Build Back Broke” agenda, showing they don’t actually care about workers or the middle class.
- The largest part of the spending bill Democrats are trying to pass is a massive tax cut for the rich in blue states.

REPUBLICAN-LED STATES ARE LEADING THE RECOVERY

Biden’s policies are creating a worker shortage at a time when there are many Americans desperate to get back to work.
- There are more than 10 million job openings that businesses are struggling to fill – a near-record high – even though there are 6.8 million unemployed Americans trying to find a job.
- 3.6 million workers were unable to work in November because their employer was closed or had lost business because of the pandemic.
- 48 percent of small business owners reported job openings they could not fill – more than double the 48-year historical average.
Biden’s policies clearly made the job market worse – he paid Americans not to work for months and stifled economic growth.
Republican-led states are the ones creating jobs and leading the economic recovery.
- Through October, 17 of the top 20 states for jobs recovered since the pandemic are led by Republican governors.
- The top 10 states with the lowest unemployment rates are all Republican-led, while the eight states with the highest unemployment rates all have Democrat governors.

HIGHER PRICES ARE HERE TO STAY

For months, the Biden administration insisted inflation was “transitory” and “temporary.”
- Fed Chair Jerome Powell and Biden’s Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen have now conceded inflation will persist and that it is time to “retire” the word “transitory.”
Key inflation indicators show higher prices are here to stay under Biden.
- Consumer prices increased by 6.2 percent in October compared to last year, the largest annual increase in 30 years.
- Producer prices have risen 8.6 percent since last October, the seventh month in a row it increased at the highest pace on record.
Economists project that high inflation will last well into 2022, with consumer price spikes above the average over the past decade.
On top of rising prices, there’s no relief in sight from the “snarled” supply chain crisis that’s happening on Biden’s watch.
- Half a million shipping containers are stranded off the coast of Southern California, unable to unload goods because of staffing scarcity at every level, with ports operating at only 60 to 70 percent capacity.
- The backup at these ports has not improved at all since Biden claimed nearly two months ago his administration would take action to solve it.

BIDEN'S VACCINE MANDATE WILL WORSEN THE SUPPLY CHAIN CRISIS AND THREATEN WORKERS

To add to Biden’s list of failures, Biden announced an unconstitutional vaccine mandate threatening the jobs and livelihoods of Americans across the country.
Biden’s mandate would affect more than 100 million Americans, stifle small businesses struggling with the supply crisis, and worsen labor shortages.
- Small businesses could face fines from nearly $14,000 all the way up to over $136,000.
Reports show that 72 percent of unvaccinated workers will leave their jobs if they are required to get vaccinated.
- This means up to 9 percent of current workers would leave their jobs.

DEMOCRATS’ PLAN: BUILD BACK BILLIONAIRES WITH A TAX CUT FOR THE RICH

Biden and Democrats are trying to ram through a bloated, multitrillion-dollarspending bill which even liberal economists have warned will lead to higher inflation and make life harder for middle-class and poor Americans.
The Democrats’ tax-and-spending spree will kill jobs, lower workers’ wages, and shrink the economy – 80 percent of taxpayers will see their incomes reduced.
Meanwhile, Biden and Democrats’ plan would give the wealthy a massive tax cut by increasing the cap on the State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction.
Biden is lying to the American people when he claims this nearly two trillion dollar spending spree will “lower inflationary pressures on the economy.”
- Numerous economists have warned that more spending could lead to even higher inflation which will make life harder for poor and middle-class Americans.
Despite Biden’s claims, “Build Back Broke” is not fully paid for, with the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) finding it would add $367 billion to the deficit.
