BIDEN AND PHIL MURPHY’S AGENDA: BUILD BACK BROKE

Today, Biden is joining Democrat Governor Phil Murphy in Newark, New Jersey to promote his build back broke agenda.
While prices are rising and businesses are struggling to find employees, Biden and Murphy want to slam New Jerseyans with trillions more in taxes and spending.
- On Murphy’s watch, nearly one-third of New Jersey small businesses were shuttered last year, with many still struggling to rebound.
- Under Murphy, New Jersey consistently ranks in the top 10 for highest unemployment rate and ranks 47^th for the best state to start a business.
It’s no wonder Biden’s approval rating among New Jerseyans is now underwater, with a plurality disapproving of his disastrous policies.
- A whopping 61 percent of New Jersey independents disapprove of the job Biden is doing.

NEW JERSEYANS ARE FACING RISING PRICES UNDER BIDEN

New Jerseyans are paying more for the everyday goods and products they need.
Nationally, consumer prices have jumped 5.4 percent over the past year, rising at the fastest rate in 13 years.
- In the Northeast region, prices rose 4.6 percent since last September.
New Jersey gas prices have risen 34 percent under Biden and are up 55 percent – over a dollar per gallon – from last October.
Housing costs are spiking, with the National Association of Realtors reporting that home prices have increased over 13 percent from a year ago.
- New Jersey housing prices are also up 13 percent, with homes in South Jersey selling for “wildly high prices.”
Used car prices in New Jersey, a key indicator of inflation, are up 18 percent – or nearly $4,500 – since last year.

MURPHY’S COVID CATASTROPHE

Under Phil Murphy, the Garden State has the second highest number of COVID deaths per capita in the country.
In the early days of COVID, Murphy followed the lead of disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and sent COVID positive patients to nursing homes, leading to the deaths of more than 8,000 nursing home residents.
When asked about this, Murphy dismissed these deaths as “end of life patients to begin with.”
- Over half of New Jersey voters believe Murphy bears responsibility for these deaths.
Even the Democrat Attorney General of New Jersey opened an investigation into these nursing home deaths.
Murphy also used the pandemic as an excuse to release prisoners, with at least two of these prisoners now being accused of murder since being released earlier this year.

BIDEN AND MURPHY’S WAR ON PARENTS

Murphy has taken Biden and Democrats’ anti-parent agenda to the next level in New Jersey.
Biden believes in mandating masks for preschoolers, and Murphy followed through, mandating masks for all students over 2 years old.
- Murphy flip-flopped on requiring a mask in schools, saying, “anyone telling you that we can safely reopen our schools without requiring everyone inside to wear a mask is quite simply lying to you. Because we can’t."
Murphy has even mandated masks be worn during school plays in New Jersey while hypocritically failing to wear a mask at multiple campaign events.
In New Jersey, new sex education standards – praised by Planned Parenthood and other far-left special interests – require that students as young as five years old are taught about abortion.

BIDEN AND MURPHY COME AFTER YOUR WALLET

Under Murphy, New Jersey has the highest property tax rate in the U.S. and the 3^rd highest personal income tax rate.
- A recent study shows that New Jersey was the most moved out of state in the country, in large part due to high taxes.
Biden is looking to spend $3.5 trillion on his radical tax-and-spending spree, while prices continue to increase every month under his presidency; hurting small businesses and stifling the recovery.
- This is equivalent of $27,000 in new spending for every household in America.
Biden lied to Americans when he said no one making under $400,000 will see their taxes go up – New Jersey families who earn just $50,000 will see a tax increase under his plan, according to the Joint Committee on Taxation.
Overall, Democrats’ spending spree would raise taxes by $2.9 trillion, the largest tax increase in decades.

MURPHY IS PUSHING BIDEN’S GREEN NEW DEAL AGENDA

Murphy proposed an illogical green energy plan to further Biden’s “Green New Deal” agenda that will cost New Jersey taxpayers $525 billion to implement.
Jersey Shore residents are concerned about how this will affect tourism, and the state’s commercial fisherman are concerned about a Murphy-backed wind farm plan that could harm prime fishing grounds.
- Rick Bertsch of Ocean City: “They're still learning about this, and we're the guinea pigs.”
- Suzanne Hornick of Ocean City: “If tourism, and recreational and commercial fishing collapses then our restaurants collapse and our schools go to hell and the next thing you know people move off the island, and you have no community at all.”
- Tony Butch, an Ocean City recreational fisherman: “There just hasn’t been enough research done in our waters to tell us that it would be safe environmentally … To me it feels like the state is putting the carriage before the horse.”
Phil Murphy is more focused on appeasing far-left activists than listening to the concerns of New Jerseyans.
