While Republicans Are Standing Up For Life, Democrats Are Pushing Far-Left Abortion Policies That The American People Don’t Support
DEMOCRATS ARE ABORTION EXTREMISTS
- Tomorrow, Americans will gather in the nation’s capital as part of the 49th annual March for Life and defend the most vulnerable in our society by advocating for pro-life policies.
- Biden and Democrats are now abortion extremists, pushing taxpayer funded, on demand, and unlimited abortion up until the moment of birth and after.
- On abortion, Democrats are out of touch and fail to represent the majority of Americans who believe unborn children should be protected.
- 71 percent of Americans want significant limits on abortion.
- 77 percent of voters’ support legislation banning infanticide.
- 80 percent of Americans believe that third trimester abortions should be illegal.
BIDEN AND THE DEMOCRATS BACK RADICAL ABORTION POLICIES
- The Biden administration has taken numerous actions to dismantle pro-life policies and promote abortion.
- In his first month in office, Biden revoked the Mexico City Policy, which previously prevented taxpayer funding for abortions abroad.
- Last month, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Biden strongly supports the passage of the Abortion for All Act which would prohibit the government from imposing any limitation on abortion.
- In March, Psaki refused to say if Biden would force doctors with religious objections to perform abortions.
- Biden’s 2022 budget called for the repeal of the Hyde Amendment, which protects American taxpayers from being forced to fund abortion.
- Biden’s cabinet is just as radical when it comes to abortion policies.
- Biden’s Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra refused to condemn partial birth abortion and abortion based on sex or disability.
- Biden’s Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg failed to condemn infanticide and late-term abortion.
- As a senator, Kamala Harris co-sponsored a bill which would have “bar[red] states from introducing private abortion coverage bans.”
- For the past two years, Senate Democrats blocked legislation banning infanticide despite 77 percent of voters supporting legislation to ban the barbaric practice.
- Democrats have made clear that there’s no place for pro-life voters in the Democrat Party.
- Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said there is no such thing as a pro-life Democrat: “being pro-choice is an absolutely essential part of being a Democrat.”
- Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) said voters that do not want tax dollars paying for abortion do not have “a valid argument.”
- In 2020, Pete Buttigieg refused to say if pro-life Democrats deserve a place within the party.
DEMOCRAT POLICIES ARE BASED ON OUTDATED SCIENCE
- Roe’s “viability” standard is based on outdated science – it is now possible for an unborn child to survive outside the womb at least a month and half earlier than was the case in 1973.
- Thanks to advances in modern medicine and science, the humanity of a 15-week-old unborn child is undeniable.
- At 22 days a baby has a heartbeat, at 8 weeks an unborn baby has a well-formed brain, by 12 weeks the baby is fully formed, and at 15 weeks the baby has a nose, eyelids, eyebrows and can feel pain.
- Democrats defend abortion as a “right” however Roe’s viability standards are in line with authoritarian states such as China and North Korea.
PRO-LIFE AMERICANS GIVE A VOICE TO THE PEOPLE
- The pro-life movement speaks up for both lives that are at stake during an abortion – the vulnerable mother and the unborn child.
- There are over 2,700 pro-life pregnancy centers that serve pregnant mothers by providing baby supplies, classes, food, and more.
- Pro-life centers also contact government agencies to ensure the mother is signed up for any help she qualifies for and partners with hospitals.
- If Roe is overturned, the American people and their elected officials will again have a voice on the issue.
- Because of Roe, for more than half a century the courts and unelected judges have been the ones dictating laws around abortion.
- Democrats don’t want the American people to have their voices heard despite a plurality of Americans wanting states to determine abortion laws, regulations, and limits.
