BIDEN’S BORDER CRISIS IS ONLY GETTING WORSE

Biden created a border crisis that has led to more than 2.2 million illegal immigrants being encountered at the southern border since he has taken office.
- Each month, Biden’s border crisis continues to set new DHS records.
Last week, Biden’s Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz said the U.S. will soon surpass one million illegal immigrants for FY2022 – this is more encounters in just six months than most full fiscal years Border Patrol has data for.
11.4 million illegal immigrants are estimated to now reside in the U.S., a population that has significantly grown thanks to Biden’s failure to enforce the law.
The border crisis is so out of control even DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted the situation at the border is, “worse now than it, frankly, has been in at least 20 years, if not ever.”
Now, Biden has caved to far-left demands and is removing the crucial Trump policy of Title 42 that helped to limit illegal migration and control the asylum process.
Border officials are now planning for never before seen numbers totaling up to 18,000 illegal immigrants entering every day this spring.

BIDEN CAVES TO THE FAR-LEFT ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

Biden’s plan to repeal this crucial immigration policy is just the latest instance of him once again giving in to the far-left.
In February, over 100 Democrats in Congress – led by squad members Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib – sent a letter to Biden demanding that Title 42 be repealed.
- Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) has not only doubled down on this demand, she went even further by calling to halt all deportations.
As soon as Biden announced the repeal of Title 42, far-left Democrats celebrated it including the Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Rep. Pramila Jayapal, who claimed it was a “momentous day.”
For Biden, when the far-left calls for open borders and mass illegal immigration, he delivers.

VULNERABLE SENATE DEMOCRATS SIDE WITH BIDEN

This week, vulnerable Senate Democrats voted against an effort to extend Title 42, showing their statements about the border crisis aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on.
- Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH), who has claimed to be in-favor of “secure borders,” voted against the amendment that would have extended Title 42.
- Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) claimed he is “breaking with Biden” and supports Title 42, yet when given the opportunity to do so he voted against extending Title 42.
- Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) claimed he was against repealing Title 42, but then voted against extending the order just two days later.
- Sen. Catherine Cortez-Masto (D-NV) claimed that repealing Title 42 is “just wrong,” yet proceeded to vote against an amendment to keep it in place.

BIDEN WANTS OPEN BORDERS

While the Biden administration has already overseen historic numbers of illegal border crossings each month, that will be nothing compared to the more than 170,000 migrants expected to flood the border when Title 42 ends.
Border Patrol is expecting so many crossings after lifting Title 42 they are considering deploying a “pre-screening” app as “an easy way for folks to get in.”
- This would allow illegal immigrants to enter the U.S. with “minimal biometric data and vetting” and with no need to confirm they provide the correct name or date of birth.
Biden is even considering sending medical personal away from Veterans Affairs centers to the border to give illegal immigrants free vaccines.
With the end of this crucial rule, flights carrying illegal immigrants around the country on taxpayer dollars are only expected to increase.
This week Biden also directed ICE lawyers to clear “low priority” asylum cases for entry, potentially allowing more than 700,000 illegal immigrants to receive protected status in the U.S. without an asylum court proceeding.

BORDER OFFICIALS BRACE FOR A “SURGE ON TOP OF A SURGE”

Border officials fear that with the end of Title 42 there will be mass illegal migration that will overwhelm Border Patrol, ICE, and border communities.
Biden’s own Department of Homeland Security estimates up to 25,000 illegal immigrants are already waiting in Mexico for Title 42 to end.
- This number could increase even more with Obama’s former DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson saying, “the lifting of Title 42, I'm sure that news is circulating right now in Central America."
National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd: Once Title 42 ends, “We are ultimately going to wave the white flag of surrender — the cartels are going to control our borders.”
- Judd also said, “The only thing this administration is going to be able to do is just release people on a mass scale, that’s it, that’s all they can do.”
Rio Grande Border Patrol Union Vice-President Chris Cabrera: “We are beckoning more people here, cause they know once they get here they know they’re not going back.”
Arizona Department of Homeland Security Director Tim Roemer: “I'm very nervous about the impact it will have on the entire border, and it could potentially overwhelm a lot of resources. It’s just amazing to see the gaps in the wall, and the people pouring through.”
Cochise County, Arizona Sheriff Mark Dannels: The end of Title 42 will have “a huge impact. We are already outpaced, we are already overwhelmed.”
Republican Attorneys General from Texas, Arizona, Louisiana, and Missouri have sued the Biden administration to prevent Title 42 from ending and to prevent the administration’s border policies from “devolving into an unmitigated catastrophe.”
