Under Joe Biden And John Fetterman, Pennsylvanians Are Facing Rising Crime, Skyrocketing Prices, And A War On Keystone State Energy Producers

FETTERMAN AND BIDEN ARE FAILING PENNSYLVANIANS

Today, Biden is traveling to Pittsburgh and Philadelphia to campaign with Democrat Senate nominee John Fetterman.
- Biden is deeply unpopular in Pennsylvania, with a dismal 37 percent approval rating.
Under Biden and Fetterman, Pennsylvania is less safe.
- Democrat-run Philadelphia broke its all-time homicide record last year with more than 560 killed, and so far this year nearly 200 kids and over 1,900 residents total have been shot.
- Democrat-run Pittsburgh has left residents pleading for more police amid an increase in crime.
John Fetterman has made Pennsylvania less safe as Lieutenant Governor, supporting soft-on-crime policies and even going so far as to call for “reimagining the police.”
- Fetterman put a record number of criminals back on the street through his position on the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons, at one point even threatening and bullying board members who didn’t agree.
Despite Fetterman’s radical policies. Biden thinks he is an “impressive individual”
- Fetterman has also praised “Joe Bin” calling him “transformative,” “an enormous asset” and said that his decision to cancel the Keystone pipeline was “the right call.”
- Fetterman would support Biden’s inflationary agenda 100 percent of the time if elected.

INMATES FOR FETTERMAN

As radicals in the Democrat party push to defund the police, Biden has looked the other way, allowing crime to run rampant.
- Biden’s Vice President Kamala Harris supports “reimagining” the police, saying “more police on the streets” is not the way to make communities safer.
Fetterman has been a vocal advocate for releasing one-third of prisoners, and said that reducing the prison population will make everyone “safer or better off.”
- Fetterman has advocated for releasing one-third of prisoners at least 14 times.
Fetterman openly admits he’s trying “to get as many folks out” of prison as he can.
- Fetterman said he wants to “free” all 1,200 second-degree murders in Pennsylvania.
- Since the Wolf-Fetterman administration took office, the Pennsylvania prison population has declined by nearly 10,000 inmates.
- During the pandemic, the Wolf-Fetterman administration bragged about releasing over 8,300 criminals, bringing the Pennsylvania prison population to its lowest level since 2001.
- Fetterman said that Pennsylvania should have been releasing prisoners “all along” and that the pandemic didn’t change his mind.
- Fetterman also said that Pennsylvania had inmates in prison who didn’t need to be there and didn’t “need to come back.”
Fetterman’s soft-on-crime “activism” doesn’t stop there; Fetterman has said if he had a magic wand to “fix one thing,” he would end “life without parole” for murderers and even called life without parole a “tragedy.”
- Fetterman naively thinks violent murders are like Morgan Freeman’s character in The Shawshank Redemption.
Fetterman voted to release violent murders such as:
- John Brookins, who stabbed a woman to death with scissors, but Fetterman voted to release him because he does yoga.
- Wayne Covington, who shot and killed a teenager for money to buy heroin.
- Raymond Johnson, who refers to himself as “a son of the devil,” who violently murdered a man and disposed of his body.
- Charles Goldblum, who stabbed a man 26 times with garden shears yet Fetterman said that he was “happy” to release him.
Fetterman has supported taxpayer-funded drug dens and “decriminalizing [drugs] across the board,” including meth and heroin.
- In Pennsylvania, the heroin and opioid crisis is “the number one public health” and safety challenge, with 5,168 Pennsylvanian lives lost in 2021 to overdoses.
13 sheriffs from across Pennsylvania have called out Fetterman’s soft-on-crime policies, highlighting how they contribute to rising crime.

FETTERMAN WANTS TO END FRACKING

Pennsylvania is the second-largest natural gas producer in America, yet Biden and Fetterman have waged war on the industry.
- Biden has said there would be no place for fossil fuels in his administration and “would make sure it’s eliminated,” he is committed to “no more” fracking, and told a voter he would stop fracking.
For years, Fetterman has attacked the Pennsylvania fracking industry, calling it a “stain” on the state and said, “if we did things right in this state, we wouldn’t have fracking.”
- In 2016, Fetterman signed a pledge to ban fracking in the state.
- In 2018, Fetterman said “I don’t support fracking. I think it’s something that has to eventually go away” and that he has never supported fracking.
- In 2020, Fetterman said that he wants to make clear that he is “not pro-fracking.”
- In March 2021, Fetterman said he hopes there becomes a “de facto moratorium” on fracking to “transition” to “green and renewable energy.”
A fracking ban would kill 609,000 Pennsylvania jobs while taking $261 billion out of the state’s economy.
Not only has Fetterman attacked the fracking industry, Fetterman has come out in support of radical energy policies such as a carbon caps and promised to be the tip of the “spear” in transitioning “away from fossil fuels.”
Pennsylvanians are already suffering from Biden’s war on American energy as energy prices in the state increased nearly 45 percent in June alone and gas prices reached a record high of $5.07 per gallon.
- Currently, residents are paying nearly $4 for a gallon of gas and $5.89 for diesel.
- The Biden administration’s solutionto high gas prices is to tell Pennsylvania families to buy an $65,000 electric vehicle (EV) which many can’t afford.
This winter, Pennsylvania families are bracing to see their heating bills rise 17 percent, “reaching the highest cost in more than a decade.”
- For the one out of every seven Pennsylvania families that use fuel oil to heat their home, average heating costs this winter will rise to more than $2,300, a 23 percent increase over last year according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration
- If it’s a cold winter, those costs will be even higher.

PENNSYLVANIANS ARE POORER UNDER BIDEN AND FETTERMAN

September’s Consumer Price Index soared by 8.2 percent compared to last year, exceeding economists’ expectations and remaining at a near 40-year high.
- Real average hourly earnings fell 3 percent since last year, marking the 18th month in a row under Biden in which inflation has outpaced wages.
Because of Bidenflation, the average Pennsylvania family will spend an extra $7,333 over the next year even if prices stopped rising today according to Congress’ Joint Economic Committee.
Under the Wolf-Fetterman administration, Pennsylvania has the 8th highest unemployment rate in the country.
- The Wolf-Fetterman administration failed to bring jobs back after the pandemic, with the Keystone State ranking 36^th nationally for jobs recovered.
Fetterman openly supported Biden’s $1.9 trillion tax and spending spree that even liberal economists admit fueled inflation.
Fetterman also supported Democrats’ radical Bidenflation Scam bill that will raise taxes and increase IRS audits on small businesses and working families.
