With An Increasingly Tight Race, Terry McAuliffe Is So Desperate For Reinforcements He’s Calling In A Friend He Openly Said Was “Unpopular” In Virginia
“UNPOPULAR” BIDEN HITS THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL WITH MCAULIFFE
- Today, Biden joins Terry McAuliffe on the campaign trail as the former Virginia governor is tanking in the polls and is desperately calling in his Democrat establishment allies for reinforcement.
- Together, Biden and McAuliffe have a combined 90 years as part of the Democrat establishment.
- Biden is traveling just 10 minutes from the White House to this rally, and only traveled 16 minutes for a rally in July – both trips to a deep blue area of Virginia.
- Despite McAuliffe attempting to distance himselffrom Biden’s falling approval rating, both career politicians have seen their poll numbers tank in recent weeks.
VIRGINIANS ARE FACING RISING PRICES UNDER DEMOCRATS
- Under Joe Biden and Democrat Governor Ralph Northam, Virginians are paying more for the everyday goods and products they need.
- Nationally, consumer prices jumped 5.4 percent over the past year, rising at the fastest rate in 13 years.
- In the South, consumer prices are up 5.8 percent, even higher than national levels.
- Virginia gas prices have risen 42 percent under Biden and are up 57 percent – over a dollar per gallon – from last October.
- Used car prices in Virginia, a key inflation indicator, rose over 26.6 percent – or nearly $6,400 – since last year.
DEMOCRATS ARE FAILING VIRGINIANS
- While prices are rising and businesses are struggling to find employees, Biden and McAuliffe want to slam Virginians with trillions more in taxes and spending.
- Under Northam, Virginia is in the top ten states for least jobs recovered after the coronavirus pandemic and ranks 49th for the best state to start a business in.
- Virginia businesses are struggling to maintain normal operations due to labor shortages, including Richmond’s Gelati Celesti Ice Cream which has been forced to cut hours as a result.
- Garbage is piling up on street curbs in Fairfax County, Virginia because of worker shortages.
- Virginians are fleeing high taxes and an unfriendly business environment, with more people moving out of the state than into it.
- Now is not the time for Terry McAuliffe’s tax hikes and rubber stamp for Biden’s job-killing agenda.
BIDEN AND MCAULIFFE WAGE A WAR ON PARENTS
- The Biden administration does not believe parents should be in charge of their kid’s education.
- Biden’s Education Secretary Miguel Cardona said that parents should not be the “primary stakeholder” in their children’s education.
- McAuliffe doesn’t believe that “parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”
- Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland sent a memo directing the FBI to investigate concerned parents because of a letter from the National School Board Association (NSBA) comparing parents at school board meetings to “domestic terrorists.”
- A Fox News poll shows that parents are galvanized over this issue in Virginia, with 57 percent of parents believing they should have a say over what their kids are being taught in school.
- Missy Pratt, Fairfax County parent: “According to the DOJ, apparently holding school board and school leadership accountable is tantamount to domestic terrorism. This is not terrorism, this is accountability.”
- Asra Nomanu, Fairfax County parent: “My shirt says very simply, I am a Mom not a domestic terrorist.”
- Carrie Lukas, Virginia mom: “ I don’t trust Virginia public schools anymore. I don’t trust that my local school board will prioritize students' needs over the desires of union workers.”
- Rachel Pisani, Loudoun County parent: “Every parent that I know is concerned about what their child is learning in school, and we don’t want a divisive curriculum.”
MCAULIFFE HAS SMEARED CONCERNED PARENTS AS “RACIST”
- McAuliffe has repeatedly labeled parents concerned about the teachings of critical race theory (CRT) “racist,” “right wing conspiracy theorists,” whose concerns are “made up,” falsely insisting CRT is “not taught in Virginia.”
- In reality, the concerns parents have about CRT are all too real:
- Alexandria City Public Schools activelypromotes resources aligned with critical race theory.
- Loudon County Public Schools paid more than $420,000 to a left-wing consulting firm for an “equity audit” within its schools and threatened parents who disagreed.
- Fairfax County Public Schools paid the leading proponent of critical race theory, Ibrahim X. Kendi, $20,000 for a one hour speech to administrators and staff.
MCAULIFFE ALREADY FAILED VIRIGNIA ONCE
- Under McAuliffe’s leadership, crime in Virginia spiked, with the state’s rate of homicides increasing by 43 percent, rapes increasing by 25 percent, and assaults increasing by 7 percent.
- McAuliffe said he would have let a Democrat bill that would allow abortions up until the moment of birth to become law.
- McAuliffe suggested it is easier for Americans to buy a gun than to vote, showing he has no clue what Virginia’s gun laws are.
- McAuliffe was caught up in a Chinese cash-for-votes scandal, where he invited a major Chinese donor under investigation by the Justice Department to Hillary Clinton’s personal home in 2013.
- McAuliffe was responsible for releasing violent criminals from prison and restoring the voting rights of violent former felons.
- McAuliffe flip-flopped on repealing Virginia’s right-to-work law, vowing to repeal it after originally promising he would “never change” it.
- McAuliffe “wildly inflated” coronavirus statistics, misleading Virginians and earning four Pinocchios from The Washington Post.
MCAULIFFE IS A BLACKFACE APOLOGIST
- In 2019, after a photo of Ralph Northam was released showing him either wearing black face or a KKK costume, both Biden and McAuliffe called on Northam to resign.
- But later, when politically convenient, both Biden and McAuliffe
- Recently uncovered comments from 2019 show McAuliffe defending Northam and saying wearing blackface was just “a dumb mistake.”
