BIDEN CONTINUES HIS LEGACY OF ENABLING OUR ENEMIES, ABANDONING OUR ALLIES

Currently, Biden is on his first overseas trip as President, visiting the U.K., Brussels, and Geneva.
Biden has a long, failed history in foreign policy, having spent over three decades on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee – 12 of the years serving as Chairman or Ranking member – and later, as Vice President, was tasked with “advis[ing] President Obama on international issues.”
While Biden will try to use this trip to define his foreign policy doctrine, it is really a reminder of Biden’s extensive record of foreign policy failures.
- Obama Defense Secretary Bob Gates said Biden “has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.”

Biden has already added to this dismal foreign policy record as president by:
- Opening our borders to historic levels of illegal immigration.
- Increasing Russia’s geopolitical strength by waiving sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
- Abandoning our ally Israel while lifting sanctions on Iran.
- Ignoring the real threat China poses to American national security.

BIDEN HAS ROUTINELY FAILED TO PUT AMERICA FIRST

Biden has a long history of praising China and ignoring the danger it poses to American national security.
- Biden has downplayed the threat of China, saying “China is not our enemy,” “a rising China is a positive development” for the U.S, and that they’re “not bad folks.”
- Biden led the effort to grant China “Most Favored Nation” status and supported their membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO).
- Biden has repeatedly bragged about spending more time with Chinese President Xi Jinping than any other world leader.

Biden has been weak on Russia - most recently having waived sanctions on the Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
- This decision came just two weeks after the Russian criminal group DarkSide disrupted America’s energy supply with a ransomware attack on the Colonial Pipeline.
Biden’s open-border policies have fueled both a humanitarian and national security crisis.
- Even foreign leaders from Guatemala, Mexico, and El Salvador have blamed Biden for igniting the crisis.

BIDEN GETS AN F ON HIS DISMAL FOREIGN POLICY RECORD

Biden has consistently failed to stand up to America’s enemies and protect our national security, racking up a catastrophic record on foreign policy.
Biden was Obama’s “point person” on Ukraine, with Putin seizing Crimea and Eastern Ukraine on his watch.
In the Middle East, Biden has been wrong at nearly every turn.
- In 1991, he voted against the successful Persian Gulf War that forced Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait.
- After September 11th, Biden suggested sending $200 million to Iran, “no strings attached.”
- In 2011, Biden opposed the raid to kill Osama bin Laden, telling Obama “don’t go.”
- Biden opposed killing Iranian terrorist Qasem Soleimani, saying he would not have ordered the strike even though Soleimani was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American servicemembers.
In 2015, Biden supported the disastrous Iranian nuclear deal, saying “I’m selling [the Iran Nuclear Deal], because I agree with this.”
- Biden now wants to bring back this dangerous deal, which released billions of dollars to the Iranian regime, the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism.
After a series of historic peace deals brokered in the Middle East, Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Biden is “not following the same tactics” as the Trump administration.
- Instead, the Biden administration lifted sanctions on Iran, both opening up the possibility for discussion on Iran’s nuclear program and damaging productive talks with other Middle Eastern countries.

Violent conflict broke out between Israel and Hamas – funded by Iran – yet Biden’s conversations with Israel focused on his efforts to lift sanctions on Iran.
- Instead of recognizing the significance of the Abraham Accords, Biden has turned the “dawn” of peace achieved by President Trump and Republicans in Congress into crisis.
