Biden’s Lie This Week That He Was Arrested Protesting For Civil Rights Is Just The Latest Lie In His Decades Of Made-Up Stories

BIDEN’S ALTERNATE SENSE OF REALITY

This week, while speaking about Democrat plans to eviscerate popular election integrity laws in Georgia, Biden fabricated a lie claiming to have been “arrested” during the civil rights movement.
- The Washington Post awarded Biden “four Pinocchios” for “yet another arrest for which there’s little evidence.”
- PolitiFact found “no evidence that Biden was actually arrested,” rating his statement false.
This marks the fourth time Biden has lied about being arrested:
- In February 2020, Biden said he was arrested in South Africa while trying to see Nelson Mandela.
- In December 2016, Biden implied he was arrested for wandering onto the Senate floor.
- In 2008, Biden said he was arrested at Ohio University for “following” women into an all-female dorm room.
Biden hasn’t just lied about being arrested – he has a long track record of making up extravagant stories, earning himself a reputation for lying about events which “never took place.”

AS PRESIDENT, BIDEN TELLS “TRUTHS” AS REAL AS FAIRY TALES

Biden repeatedly claims that he “desegregated restaurants and movie theaters” and came “out of the civil rights movement.”
- Biden never helped to desegregate restaurants and movie theaters and was not out marching – in 1987 even admitting this wasn’t true.
In December, Biden claimed in front of Jewish community members and Rabbis that he was invited by Prime Minister Golda Meir to serve as a “liaison” during Israel’s Six-Day War.
- With Biden still in law school during the Six-Day War and Golda Meir not yet Prime Minister, there is no evidence he had served as a liaison to Israel.
- Biden didn’t travel to Israel until six years later, a visit in which he met with the Prime Minister and was critical of Israel and Jewish voters.
On at least six occasions, Biden made up a “bizarre” Amtrak Story where he claimed that in his “fourth or fifth” year as Vice President, he was headed home to see his mother when an Amtrak conductor named Angelo Negri congratulated him on riding more than 1 million miles on Air Force Two and 1.5 million miles on Amtrak.
- Angelo Negri retired in 1993 and passed away in 2014.
- Biden’s mother died in 2010 during Biden’s second year as Vice President.
- Biden did not reach 1 million miles on Air Force Two until his seventh year as Vice President.
Biden has twice claimed that he “used to drive” a tractor-trailer.
- Biden has never driven a tractor-trailer, with the White House responding that Biden once rode in an 18-wheeler and pointed to Biden’s experience as a school bus driver, which has at most six wheels.
In November, Biden lied about his house burning down with his “wife in it.”
- Biden’s house didn’t burn down, it was simply a “small fire that was contained” in his kitchen.
In September, Biden falsely claimed his “first job offer” came from Boise Cascade, an Idaho lumber business.
- Lisa Tschampl, a spokeswoman for Boise Cascade responded, “we have no record of President Biden’s application or of him having worked for the company.”
In September, Biden lied about visiting the Tree of Life synagogue after the 2018 mass shooting.
- Barb Feige, the executive director of the Tree of Life clarified Biden had not visited the Tree of Life Synagogue, the location of the worst anti-Jewish hate crime in US history.
In July, Biden lied about hitting a 386-foot shot at his second Congressional Baseball game “at the old stadium” in Washington D.C.
- Biden actually went 0-2, and the game was played in Baltimore.
In May, Biden claimed his “great-grandpop was” a coal miner.
- Biden’s grandfather was a mining engineer and state senator, not a coal miner.
In February, Biden claimed he was “shot at” overseas, a claim he had made once before.
- The former legislative director for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, Patrick Campbell, responded, “veterans don’t like it when people mischaracterize their service, people who overstate what happens to them. We have names for them.”
In February, during a virtual summit, Biden told world leaders that he was a “professor.”
- Biden never taught a class, instead he was paid nearly one million dollars to visit the campus nine times.

BIDEN HAS A HISTORY OF LYING THROUGHOUT HIS CAMPAIGN

In September 2020, Biden falsely claimed he was the first in his family to attend college.
In January 2020 Biden lied about starting the effort to end the Bosnian Genocide.
On multiple occasions in 2019, Biden lied about meeting with survivors of the Parkland shooting while he was Vice President.
In August 2019, Biden falsely claimed that as Vice President he traveled to Konar Province in Afghanistan to pin a silver star on a Navy captain.
- Biden did not visit Konar Province as Vice President.
- The “captain” was actually a 20-year-old army specialist and did not receive a silver star.
