MIKIE SHERRILL WOULD CONTINUE NEW JERSEY DEMOCRATS’ FAILED ECONOMIC POLICIES

  • Democrat Phil Murphy’s eight years in office have drastically harmed New Jersey’s economy.
    • New Jersey ranks 49th out of 50 states for tax competitiveness.
    • New Jersey has the highest property tax rate in the country.
    • New Jersey is tied for the fourth highest unemployment rate in the country.
    • New Jersey ranks dead last among business friendliness.
  • There is “no big difference” between Mikie Sherrill’s and Phil Murphy’s policies and Sherrill would be a “continuation” of Murphy’s agenda.
  • Sherrill refused to commit to not raising taxes: “I’m not going to commit to anything.”

SHERRILL FAILED TO SHOW UP AND DO HER JOB IN CONGRESS

  • Sherrill has missed more than half of her House votes since the 119th Congress began – more than any other House member.
  • When Sherrill decides to show up, her votes have hurt New Jerseyans.
    • Sherrill voted against the One Big Beautiful Bill which eliminated tax on tips, Social Security, and overtime.
    • The OBBB would protect 179,000 full-time jobs in New Jersey over the next four years per the Council of Economic Advisors.
    • Sherrill voted against the bipartisan Laken Riley Act which mandates the Department of Homeland Security detain illegal migrants who have been arrested for burglary, theft, larceny, or shoplifting.
    • Sherrill voted against the bipartisan SAVE Act which would require proof of citizenship when registering to vote in federal elections.
    • Sherrill refused to vote for a clean continuing resolution to fund the government, instead siding with Democrats who want to give healthcare to illegal aliens.

SHERRILL WOULD PUT PARENTS LAST

  • Sherrill has refused to stand up for girls’ sports.
  • Sherrill doesn’t believe that parents should have the right to withdraw their children from radical LGBTQ agendas being taught in schools.
    • Sherrill: "I would push an LGBTQ education into our schools...this is not an area where [parents] should be opting out."

SHERRILL IS SCANDAL-RIDDEN

  • Sherrill was not allowed to walk with her graduating class at the Naval Academy in 1994 due to a cheating scandal.
    • Sherrill refuses to release her full disciplinary record from the Naval Academy.
    • Sherrill has also been rocked with accusations of nepotism as her two children were accepted to the Naval Academy earlier this year.
  • Sherrill has been accused of inflating her rank in the Navy by sending more than 20 fundraising appeals claiming to be a lieutenant commander, even though she was discharged at the rank of lieutenant.
  • Since she was first elected to Congress, Sherrill has tripled her net worth thanks to her stock trades.
    • When pressed on if she made $7 million in the stock market while in Congress, Sherrill couldn’t give a straight answer.
    • Sherrill was forced to pay a fine after failing to disclose up to $350,000 in stock sales.
    • Sherrill’s husband, Jason Hedberg, has made more than $2.6 million each year since 2021 and the two own three homes: a large mansion in Montclair, a vacation home in Vermont, and a townhouse in Washington, DC.
  • Following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, Sherrill smeared Kirk, calling his views “vile” and accused him of trying to “roll back the rights of women and black people.”
  • Sherrill has campaigned with “Defund the Police” advocates and Newark’s mayor Ras Baraka, who has praised raging antisemite Louis Farrakhan.

JACK CIATTARELLI WOULD BRING COMMON SENSE POLICIES BACK TO THE GARDEN STATE

  • Jack Ciattarelli will do what Mikie Sherrill refuses to do and work to lower taxes.
  • Ciattarelli would reform the NJ Board of Public Utilities, freeing it from control of the utility monopolies that consistently raise gas and electricity rates.
    • Under Phil Murphy, New Jersey went from being a net exporter of electricity to a net importer.
  • As a father of four, Ciattarelli understands the importance of parents’ rights and will continue to fight for parental choice in their children’s schools.
  • New Jerseyans are fed up with Murphy and recent polls now show that the race to succeed him is a dead heat
