RED STATES ARE BOOMING

BIDENFLATION IS WREAKING HAVOC ON FAMILIES, CONSUMERS, AND BUSINESSES

  • Despite overseeing the worst jobs report of the year, the highest inflation rate in nearly four decades, and a supply chain crisis, Biden has doubled down on his job-killing vaccine mandates and inflationary “Build Back Broke” agenda.
  • As prices continue to skyrocket, Americans are purchasing cheaper foods, switching brands, and walking away from what they used to buy.
  • In Pennsylvania, there’s “empty shelves left and right.”
  • In Texas, there’s “near empty” shelves as residents have to go to as many as “three different stores” to find products.
    • In Georgia, families say they have to “strategize their [grocery] trips and think on the fly” in order to find specific items at “the right price.”
    • The president of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association described the current supply chain crisis as “just wreaking havoc on the entire retail world.”
    • A Ohio shopper said empty shelves seem to be “getting worse” in her local supermarkets.
    • Parents across the country report a baby formula shortage, leaving moms and dads “worried” and scrambling for alternatives.
  • According to the NFIB Small Business Optimism Index, 22 percent of small businesses say inflation is the number one problem they face – the highest level since 1981.
    • Rodolfo Gerardo, a restaurant owner in Illinois: “We have to raise our prices. Sadly, if we don’t, we can’t keep our business.”
    • Dave Horesh, co-founder of Oxford Pennant in Buffalo, New York: “…when it happens across your entire supply chain, you can only resist [raising prices for] so long.”
    • Hillary Guttman, a bakery owner in New Orleans: "With a small business, that's what you live and die by, how much your food cost is. If it goes up even 5%, it can really impact your revenue, your ability to pay employees, pay rent, and keep the lights on.
    • Larry Johns, owner of McJak Candy in Medina, Ohio: “We've already been kind of compressing our margins the last three to six months as it is. We can't afford to keep doing it … In my 21 years at McJak, we have never experienced such across-the-board inflation on almost everything we buy.”
