    • In February, it was reported that Yuma, Arizona’s only hospital was on the brink of collapse – forced to delay residents’ care in order to treat illegal immigrants and racking up millions in unpaid expenses.

    • Local law enforcement is tied up dealing with the surge in crossings, draining resources that are typically used for everyday policing activities.
  • Fentanyl pouring over the border has made its way into the Hispanic community, causing drug overdose deaths among Hispanics to spike in recent years.
  • 81 percent of Hispanic voters are concerned about the border and a majority believe the situation at the border has gotten worse since Biden took office, according to a recent poll by The Center Square.
