Tomorrow Senate Democrats Will Try To Pass The Most Extreme Pro-Abortion Bill In History

DEMOCRATS WANT TO PASS THEIR RADICAL ABORTION AGENDA

• Tomorrow, Senate Democrats will once again attempt to pass their radical “Abortion For All Act,” which would prohibit virtually any limits on abortion.
  • Nearly every Senate Democrat backs this radical legislation, with the bill cosponsored by 48 Democrats and Democrat Bob Casey saying he will vote for it.
  • In February, 46 Senate Democrats voted for the “Abortion For All Act.”
• The Biden administration has fully embraced this bill.
  • White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki called it “extremely disappointing” that Senate Republicans blocked the “Abortion For All Act” in an attempt to protect life.
  • Biden, who refuses to name a single limit on abortion that he would support, has vowed to sign a bill to federally legalize abortion on demand.
• Democrats are willing to do anything to pass the most radical pro-abortion bill in history and block pro-life laws around the country.
  • Democrats are once again calling to end the filibuster and eviscerate Senate rules in an attempt to pass their deeply unpopular agenda.

THE MOST EXTREME PRO-ABORTION BILL IN HISTORY

• Democrats want to force their far-left agenda on all Americans by passing the “Abortion For All Act” which would declare “virtually unlimited abortion” as federal law.
  • Senate Democrats’ extreme bill would prohibit virtually “any limitation or requirement” for abortion and instead “enshrine into federal law abortion on demand until the moment of birth.”
• If enacted, the bill would threaten nearly all state-level abortion restrictions and “various provisions limiting taxpayer funding for abortions.”
• It would also ban informed consent requirements and “prohibit legislation that the Supreme Court has upheld” such as “parental consent requirements for minors seeking abortions.”
• The “Abortion For All Act” does not protect bans on “lethal discrimination abortions.”
  • This cruel bill would prevent states from “protecting children from abortion based on their sex, race,” or even for simply being diagnosed with Down Syndrome.
  • The bill would also prohibit states from “enacting policies that protect children from inhumane late-term abortion procedures.”
• Democrats consider neither the life of the baby nor mother in their radical agenda.
  • States would not be allowed to make laws requiring waiting periods.
  • Under the bill, states cannot prohibit abortion even if the child can feel pain.
  • The bill would invalidate various state bans on partial-birth abortion, as many state bans would fall outside the bill’s carve-out.
  • The bill also would endanger conscience rights and the religious freedom of doctors and nurses.
• The bill has come under fire for its vague language and has earned the title, “the one-minute-from-infanticide bill.”

POLLING SHOWS THE “ABORTION FOR ALL” AGENDA IS UNPOPULAR

• Democrats are out of touch and fail to represent the majority of Americans who believe in protections for the unborn.
  • 71 percent of Americans want significant limits on abortion.
  • 77 percent of voters support legislation banning infanticide.
  • 80 percent of Americans believe that third trimester abortions should be illegal.
• Polling shows a majority of Americans support a 15-week abortion ban. 
• Overall, Americans agree that abortion should not be funded by taxpayers.
