MEMORIAL DAY WILL COST AMERICANS MORE

Heading into Memorial Day weekend, Americans will be forced to spend significantly more on their barbeques, shopping, and travel thanks to Bidenflation.
Memorial Day cookouts will cost more under Biden, with ground beef up nearly 15 percent, hot dogs up almost 7 percent, bacon up 17 percent, pie up 13 percent, and beer up 5 percent.
Airfare will cost the average American 6 percent more compared to last year according to AAA, and the average midrange hotel rates are 42 percent more than a year ago.
Experts warn Memorial Day sales will not be as good this year due to “shrinkflation” and higher initial prices on goods now marked down.
- 84 percent of Americans expect inflation to impact their Memorial Day shopping.
Due to rising costs, as many as 50 percent of low-income families are likely to forgo Memorial Day celebrations this year.
- 49 percent of Americans say they will not dine out this weekend, 44 percent plan to skip buying decorations, and 31 percent even plan on cutting alcohol purchases.

HOLIDAY WEEKEND TRAVEL IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN EVER

Americans already struggling at the gas pump are expected to see “record breaking” gas prices this Memorial Day, making this the “most expensive holiday weekend at the pump ever.”
- Memorial Day weekend average gas prices are expected to hit $4.65 a gallon according to GasBuddy – a 51 percent increase since last year.
U.S. average gas prices have increased nearly every day for the last month.
- The average cost for a gallon of gas hit a new record high on Thursday of $4.60 per gallon.
- Under Biden, 49 states have hit new record high gas prices, and in every state Americans are paying average prices above $4 per gallon.
70 percent of Americans said their summer travel plans have been impacted by historic gas prices – a 24 percent increase since last year.
- 38 percent of Americans say that “high inflation is leading to difficulty in planning summer trips.”
Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm admitted that gas prices will stay above $4 per gallon for the rest of the year.

BIDENFLATION IS CRUSHING AMERICANS

It’s not just Memorial Day that is costing Americans more – day to day life continues to get more expensive under Biden as inflation places more Americans in financial jeopardy.
- According to a Bloomberg estimate, the typical U.S. family will spend an extra $5,200 this year due to inflation.
- Congress’ Joint Economic Committee estimates Bidenflation cost the average American family $569 last month.
- A Northwestern Mutual study found Americans now have an average of $9,000 less in savings than they did last year.
Biden continues to laugh at Americans struggling to afford food, gas, and housing because he wasted their money.
With inflation squeezing household budgets, a Fox News poll found three-quarters of Americans say rising prices are causing financial hardship for their family.
A Bank of America study found minority families and rural households “are getting hit the hardest” by Bidenflation.
- Black, Hispanic, and Latino households spend more of their income on energy and food than other demographics, making them increasingly vulnerable to rising prices.

BIDEN’S POLICIES WILL MAKE INFLATION WORSE

As Americans reel from 40-year high inflation, Biden’s policies will only make this crisis worse.
- A report from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco found what 70 percent of Americans already know – Biden’s $1.9 trillion boondoggle fueled inflation.
In March, Biden unveiled his budget for FY 2023, a $5.8 trillion spending spree chocked full of wasteful spending and higher taxes which would further fuel inflation.
On top of Biden’s trillion-dollar spending spree, Biden is still attempting to pass his radical Build Back Broke agenda which he falsely claims will “lower inflationary pressures on the economy.”
- Numerous economists have warned that more spending could lead to even higher inflation which will make life harder for middle and lower-class Americans.
- A study commissioned by American Action Forum found “Build Back Broke” would shrink the economy, lead to a loss of 650,000 jobs, and reduce wages by $350 per worker.
