RECORD PRICES FOR THANKSGIVING DINNER

This Thanksgiving is shaping up to possibly be the “most expensive meal in the history of the holiday,” with families paying more for nearly every ingredient – that is, if these items are even on shelves.
According to the Farm Bureau’s annual Thanksgiving survey, the cost of Thanksgiving dinner is up 14 percent this year – rising to the highest price in the history of the survey.
- No classic Thanksgiving staple has been spared, including the centerpiece turkey (+24 percent), rolls (+15 percent), and cranberries (+11 percent).
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) says the cost of a whole turkey this year is expected to hit a record high, up 25 percent from last year and nearly doubling compared to the price in 2019.
- At least “60 percent of turkeys nationwide are already out of stock – and the same goes for other products."
Biden’s supply chain crisis is making Thanksgiving staples “tough to find” and a “Thanksgiving of alternatives” for many, with the largest price increases coming for meat, poultry, fish, and eggs.

BIDEN CELEBRATES LAVISHLY WHILE AMERICANS STRUGGLE

Inflation is at a 30-year-high, stripping Americans of wage gains and slamming lower-income families who spend about a third of their income on essentials like food and energy.
- Bidenflation is hitting middle America the hardest, with “19 states in the middle of the country … experiencing price increases above 7 percent.”
Americans are “feeling the effects of rising prices” and some who “wouldn’t normally need the help” are turning to food pantries, only to find them “practically empty.”
- Thousands of military families are struggling with food insecurity.
- In Florida, a 70-year ‘Turkey Shoot” tradition which raises money for the community was cancelled because of exorbitant turkey prices.
- Heating costs this winter are expected to wallop wallets.
There is a “growing struggle to feed families in need,” but Biden will celebrate Thanksgiving in Nantucket, where the average home price is $3 million.
The Biden administration has dismissed inflation and supply chain issues as “high class problems,” a “tragedy,” and “hilarious.”
- When dismissing inflation didn’t work, the Biden White House is now absurdly trying to blame Republicans instead.
- “Uncomfortably high inflation” is no joke to Americans in need, especially as winter comes and Biden’s claims that inflation is “transitory” prove false.

TRAVEL IS MORE EXPENSIVE

As families travel for Thanksgiving, gas prices are at a seven-year high, up 50 percent from one year ago.
Jet fuel prices have increased 25 percent in just three months, which could “increase the cost of airline tickets ahead of the busy holiday travel season.”
Biden’s unconstitutional vaccine mandate would leave businesses – including transportation – “scrambling” and push inflation even higher.
- As many as 20,000 TSA employees could be fired under one of Biden’s mandates, leaving “security checkpoints at 440 airports nationwide significantly understaffed.”
