WHAT DEMOCRATS INCLUDED IN THEIR $1.9 TRILLION PAYOFF TO PROGRESSIVES:
$1.9 trillion in new debt according to the Congressional Budget Office.
The real total could be even higher, up to $4.1 trillion in new debt according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.
$350 billion for a blue state bailout, with funding being distributed by a formula that’s biased towards primarily Democrat-run states, hundreds of billions more than what estimates say is needed.
$600 million for San Francisco, nearly erasing the city’s budget deficit after it spent money on "free alcohol, marijuana and tobacco to homeless people."
$86 billion for a pension bailout that pre-dates COVID-19.
$1.7 billion for Amtrak, including nearly $1 billion for train travel in the Northeast alone and $166 million for a scenic western railway route.
$800 million for foreign food aid.
$470 million for the humanities, arts, and museums.
$100 million for the EPA to “address health outcome disparities from pollution.”
$20 million for ”language preservation.”
An expansion of Obamacare that subsidizes health care for wealthier families.
Funding for abortion and Planned Parenthood.
Less than 10% to directly combat COVID-19.
Just 1% for vaccines.
WHAT’S NOT IN THE DEMOCRATS’ BILL:
Democrats rejected tying funding for schools to re-opening.
Democrats rejected an actual targeted COVID plan that prioritized real relief and needed assistance.
Democrats rejected an amendment to block prisoners from receiving relief checks.
Democrats rejected an amendment to block illegal immigrants from receiving relief checks.
Democrats rejected replacing the bill’s blue state bailout and using the funding formula that was used in the bipartisan CARES Act.
Democrats rejected a provision to review and approve the Keystone XL Pipeline, which would undo Biden’s decision to kill 11,000 jobs.
Democrats rejected a provision to help private and parochial schools combat COVID-19.
Democrats rejected an amendment to hold states that underreported nursing home deaths accountable.
Democrats failed to include the Hyde Amendment, a longstanding protection to ensure taxpayer dollars are not used to fund abortion.
