Arizonans are on track to pay $9,687 more for the things they buy on an annualized basis since Joe Biden took office.
Congress’ Joint Economic Committee tracks how much prices have increased due to inflation since Biden took office in January 2021. In Arizona, prices are up 14.9 percent and additional costs due to inflation amounted to $807 per household last month in Arizona.
Democrats Mark Kelly, Tom O’Halleran and Greg Stanton caused this inflation by voting for Biden’s reckless spending spree. Mark Kelly was the deciding vote.
Kelly, O’Halleran and Stanton blew nearly $1 billion by sending stimulus checks to criminals in prison — even the Boston Bomber. Their wasteful spending also funded a high-end hotel and spa, pushed critical race theory in schools and remodeled politicians’ offices.
As Arizona sees some of the worst inflation in the country, Kelly, O’Halleran and Stanton want to spend more and raise taxes by trillions of dollars. Maricopa County and Pinal County had the worst inflation of any tracked metro area in the continental U.S., with prices spiking 12.3 percent.
