Criminal cartels trafficking illegal immigrants continue to fuel dangerous, deadly car chases in Arizona. “‘It's a daily occurrence along the interstate and the major highways leading up into the Phoenix metropolitan area,’ said Ray Rede, assistant special agent in charge for U.S. Homeland Security Investigations,” the Arizona Republic reported today. The crashes are piling up.

Hobbs wants to be governor, but her views on the border are far too extreme:

• Katie Hobbs supported defunding state border security efforts — tantamount to defunding the police.
  • Asked if she supported state funds going to border security, Hobbs said, “The border is a federal issue […] I think we have other priorities in our state that we should be directing our resources to.” 
  • A Hobbs win could spell the end of the Border Strike Force and efforts like Cochise County’s Safe Streets task force, which is “funded largely through state Border Security Funds.”
• Hobbs refused to rule out removing the National Guard from Arizona’s border.
• Hobbs denied there is a border crisis in an interview.
• Hobbs supported Biden’s move to end Title 42 border protections before flip-flopping on her position following Republican criticism.
• Hobbs claimed “it’s ridiculous” that border security is “a core issue in the governor’s race.”
• Hobbs failed to recall the last time she visited the border in a recent interview.
• Hobbs voted against the border wall at least twice.
• Hobbs voted for lawless sanctuary cities.
• Hobbs voted against tougher penalties for criminal illegal immigrants twice.
