Jeffries shameful border "fiction"

Cartels are exploiting Biden’s border crisis to poison thousands of Americans with fentanyl. But according to House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries, warnings about fentanyl and the border crisis are “fictional argument[s].”

He’s wrong. Here are the facts:

  • According to DEA Administrator Anne Milgram, Mexican cartels “are responsible for virtually all of the fentanyl and meth that are in the U.S. today.”
    • Overdoses – driven by fentanyl poisoning – are now the leading cause of death for Americans 18 to 45 years old.
  • Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz told Congress the government does not have operational control of the border.
  • According to Chief Ortiz, cartels are “dictating” how, where, and when migrants cross the border in order to occupy Border Patrol and smuggle deadly drugs.
  • Over 1.3 MILLION “gotaways” have evaded border officials and escaped into the U.S. since Biden took office.

This is a crisis. The fact that the leader of House Democrats would insist it’s “fictional” is shameful.
