So Biden CAN Take Executive Action?
Jake - Schneider

Biden is apparently considering “major new executive actions” to finally address the unprecedented border crisis happening on his watch.

What changed?

For weeks, Democrats painted the airwaves with denials that Biden already possessed the executive authority he needed to secure the border:

  • “I’ve done all I can do. Give me the power!” demanded Biden.
  • “We have taken executive actions already,” insisted impeached DHS Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas.
  • “There is no executive action that the president can take,” claimed Karine Jean-Pierre.
  • “[Biden] needs additional authorities to secure the border,” said Olivia Dalton.
  • It “can only be addressed by legislation — not by executive action,” claimed Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman.
  • “It’s just not true [that Biden already has authority to secure the border],” proclaimed Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy.

Of course, it was all absurd from the very beginning. Biden took 94 executive actions in his first 100 days to dismantle border security, then implemented an illegal “catch-and-release” scheme that has allowed millions of unvetted illegal immigrants to be resettled in U.S. communities. Then he threw up his hands.

Biden could end it all with a few strokes of his pen — but he won’t.

It’s all by design.
