A YEAR OF COMPLETE FAILURE

• On Tuesday, the American people will not hear a bipartisan, unifying message – instead Biden is likely to double down on his radical agenda that has led to higher prices, spiking crime, and failed leadership abroad.
• Biden has said “the single greatest currency you have is your word—keeping your word.”
  • But time and time again during his first year in office, Biden broke his promises and his word, and his policies failed the American people.
• Americans have taken notice, with Biden’s approval rating tanking as a result.
  • Even Democrat voters feel that “promises aren’t being kept” by Biden.

BIDEN HAS MADE AMERICA LESS SAFE

• Biden has shown weakness on the world stage countless timesand consistently put American interests last.
  • Biden gifted Putin a geopolitical win by lifting sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
  • Biden failed to hold Russian hackers responsible when the Colonial Pipeline was hacked.
• Biden’s most recent foreign policy blunder was his failure to stand up to Putin and deter Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
  • After Putin gave the order to invade, the Biden administration failed to call it an “invasion” for hours in yet another show of weakness.
• Biden weakly tried to appease Putin with “any accommodation” in Ukraine after thousands of Russian troops amassed at the border.
  • Despite promising to “make it clear to the Kremlin that it must end its aggression toward and occupation of Ukraine,” Biden reportedly pressed “Ukraine to formally cede a measure of autonomy” of its eastern territory to Russia. 
  • Biden managed to “infuriate” eastern European allies, sold out Ukraine to Russia, and "shocked” NATO allies.
• Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal was conducted anything but “responsibly, deliberately, and safely.”
  • Instead, Biden left behind billions in U.S. military equipment for terrorists, the Taliban took over the country in just days, and 13 U.S. servicemembers were killed.
  • The Taliban now run Afghanistan despite Biden previously saying “the likelihood there’s going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely.”
  • Biden said there would be “no circumstance” where Americans would be evacuated off the roof of the U.S. embassy in Kabul, which is exactly what happened.
  • Biden failed in his duty to protect all Americans, with some still trapped behind terrorist lines in Afghanistan.
  • Now, Afghan women are left at the mercy of the ruthless and repressive Taliban.
• Biden failed to stand for Cuban protestors and condemn communism in Cuba.
• Biden was silent as Israel came under terrorist rocket attack, signaling U.S. hesitance to support our strongest ally in the Middle East.
• Biden failed to stand up to Democrats in Congress after they tried to cut Iron Dome funding and openly spouted anti-Israel and anti-Semitic sentiments.

• Instead of caring for our veterans, Biden’s failed economic policies have fueled high prices that harm military families and veterans struggling with food insecurity.

BIDEN HAS FAILED TO PUT AMERICAN ENERGY FIRST

• On day one, Biden began waging war on American energy, cancelling the Keystone XL pipeline and killing 11,000 jobs, many of them union jobs.
  • Keystone XL workers struggled for months after being laid-off due to Biden’s decision to kill their jobs.
• Biden rejoined the disastrous Paris Climate Agreement, which economists estimate will kill anywhere from 400,000 to 2.7 million U.S. jobs.
• Biden placed a moratorium on new oil and gas leases on federal lands, threatening an estimated 268,000 jobs.  
• Biden’s war on energy has led to the highest gas prices in seven years.
  • In Biden’s first year, gas prices have gone up nearly $1 per gallon, hitting middle class families.
• Biden may still ban fracking after claiming he wouldn’t, with his Energy Secretary suggesting a full fracking ban is still a possibility.
• Biden’s “Build Back Broke” bill includes new electric vehicle tax credits, which is a tax credit for the wealthy paid for by nurses and factory works that benefits China.
• Biden refuses to unleash American energy that would drive down prices; instead, he has relied on foreign countries, begging OPEC to produce more oil.

  • 346 law enforcement officers were shot at and 63 killed in the line of duty – a significant increase from 2020.
• Police retirements are skyrocketing, with staffing shortages across the country.
• Since coming into office, Biden has not stood with law enforcement, but rather surrounded himself with radical defund the police supporters.

BIDEN IS POLITICIZING AND WEAPONIZING THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM

• Biden failed to appoint an Attorney General who would “enforce the law” and not be a political enforcer; Merrick Garland has effectively operated “as a branch of the Democratic National Committee” by targeting Republican states over redistricting and election integrity laws.
• Biden weaponized the Department of Justice (DOJ) to promote his radical left agenda by calling parents domestic terrorists.
• Biden failed to give an answer on if he supports packing the Supreme Court with far-left justices, and has still not provided an answer on the issue.

BIDEN IS TRYING TO UNDERMINE ELECTION INTEGRITY

• Biden endorsed eliminating the filibuster to push through his radical election takeovers, despite previously saying ending the filibuster would be “very dangerous.”
• Biden endorsed Senate Democrats’ plans to push for H.R. 4 - the Election Suppression Act – and S.2747 – the Freedom To Cheat Act – each bills that would undermine election integrity.
• Biden supported MLB’s boycott of Georgia and moving last year’s All-Star Game out of the state over its new voting law, which cost Georgia businesses over $100 million in revenue.

BIDEN HAS FAILED TO “SHUT DOWN THE VIRUS”

• Biden promised to “shut down the virus,” but more Americans died from COVID in 2021 than in 2020 when a COVID vaccine was not widely available.
  • Biden refused to take any “responsibility” for COVID-19 deaths, waiving off questions about his responsibility now that more Americans have died on his watch.
  • More than 500,000 Americans have died from COVID since Biden took office.
• After failing to “shut down the virus,” Biden claimed “there is no federal solution” to the pandemic.
  • Biden failed to be a “partner” to the nation’s governors in the fight against the COVID, instead choosing to skip the White House’s weekly coronavirus coordinating calls with governors.
• Biden broke his promise to “always listen to scientists,” failing to listen to scientists time and time and time
• Biden claimed that he would not “demand” vaccines be mandatory, but ordered an unconstitutional vaccine mandate after his administration repeatedly said he wouldn’t.
  • Biden broke his promise to support essential workers, with his COVID vaccine mandate threatening to worsen hospital staff shortages and cost these workers their jobs.
• He also lied when he said he would only require masks for 100 days, “not forever,” with his administration extending a mask mandate for travelers into March of 2022 and saying there’s no end in sight for masking.
• Biden oversaw a national testing shortage, forcing Americans to wait in long lines to get tested if they were even able to get one.
  • Under Biden, America “lags behind other countries in making tests affordable.”

BIDEN’S ECONOMY: HISTORIC INFLATION, LOWER WAGES, AND A LABOR SHORTAGE

• In Biden’s failed economy, Americans are slammed with consumer prices rising at their fastest rate in 40 years, with inflation costing the average family $3,500 in 2021.
  • Biden promised to work for “low-income Americans,” yet 66 percent of households making under $40,000 have reported hardship due to inflation.
  • Real wages are now down as inflation has eaten up any wage gains.
• Millions of Americans are still jobless, and Biden has put thousands out of work because of his far-left agenda.  
  • Biden pushed a vaccine mandate that threatened nearly 45 million jobs and businesses with at least $1.29 billion in compliance costs, exacerbating the supply chain crisis and driving up costs.
• Americans have struggled to keep food on the table as empty shelves and high prices affect nearly every product in grocery stores.

BIDEN HAS OVERSEEN THE WORST BORDER CRISIS IN DECADES

• Biden has overseen an historic border crisis with border apprehensions reaching a 21-year high.
  • More than 2 million illegal immigrants have been caught attempting to cross the border since Biden took office.
  • Thousands of illegal immigrants crossing the border each month are being released into the U.S. without being tracked, with more than 500,000 illegal immigrants having disappeared into the U.S. since January 2021.
  • The number of illegal crossings at the border has risen at a faster rate under Biden than at any time in recent history.
  • Biden’s claims of “seasonal migration” have been completely debunked as even MSNBC hosts claims this is no longer true.
  • Even Biden’s DHS Secretary said the situation at the border is “worse now than it, frankly, has been in at least 20 years, if not ever.”
• In Biden’s first 100 days in office he took more than 94 executive actions on immigration, including halting construction of the border wall and ending the Trump administration’s successful “Remain in Mexico” policy.
• In an attempt to hide the low numbers of deportations under his administration, Biden failed to produce the annual ICE Enforcement and Removal operations report from his first year in office.
• Biden failed to create a “fair and humane immigration system,” as immigration courts are facing a backlog of more than 1.5 million cases as border numbers continue to rise.
  • Biden’s border crisis has led to illegal immigrants drowning crossing the border, toddlers being thrown over border walls, and trucks flipping over and killing migrants.
  • Biden failed to treat migrants children with “compassion and sensitivity,” as he oversaw children being jammed into cages at border facilities.
• Biden has failed to “tackle to root causes” of the illegal immigration crisis, shirking this responsibility onto border czar Kamala Harris.
  • Harris has failed to deal with the northern triangle countries, with Guatemala’s president saying Harris has only contacted him once since she became the administration’s point person on immigration.
  • Biden has not been to the border as president to see the border crisis for himself, and other than a brief drive-by, there is still no record that Biden has ever visited the border.
• Biden’s border crisis fueled increased illicit drug seizures and fatal overdose deaths across the United States.
  • Under Biden, fentanyl overdoses have become the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18 to 45.
• Border Patrol agents are feeling frustrated, “demonize[d],”and abandoned because Biden has refused to take strong action to address the border crisis.
  • 2021 saw the most Border Patrol agents assaulted in the line of duty of any year on record, with a record 70 agents attacked in just one month.
• Instead, the Biden administration has prioritized the interests of illegal immigrants over American citizens.

  • According to TSA more than 44,000 illegal aliens were allowed to fly using arrest warrants between January and October 2021.

BIDEN HAS FAILED TO BE TRANSPARENT

• In 2021, Biden held just nine press conferences, fewer than any president in over three decades.
  • In 2021, Biden did just 13 solo interviews.
  • Biden has only done three townhalls, “all of them on CNN” and invite only.
• Biden spent at least 104 days of his first year in office in Delaware, nearly 26 percent of his days in office.
• In multiple press conferences, Biden only called on reporters from a pre-approved list. 
• The Biden administration comment line is “shut down,” “schedules for the president and vice president aren’t posted online,” and “there are no citizen petitions on the White House’s website.”
• Biden’s lack of transparency has even been addressed by nearly 50 Progressive organizations that wrote a joint letter to Biden demanding greater transparency.
• Biden failed to “defeat the lies,” personally spending months spreading lies about Georgia’s new voting law.
• Biden failed to “always tell you the truth,” lying about everything from policy to his personal history.
• Biden failed to “be totally transparent in terms of my health” and his recent physical was missing information including a cognitive exam.
• Biden failed to hold his family accountable and to stop Hunter’s corrupt business dealings.
  • Biden promised that no one in his family would have “any business relationship with anyone that relates to a foreign corporation or a foreign country”; Hunter Biden continues to own a stake in a firm linked to the Chinese
  • Biden promised that no one in his family would do any business that poses a conflict of interest to the presidency; Hunter Biden has been selling artwork for large sums of money without any safeguards or disclosure of who the buyers are, creating “an ethical problem” and the “perfect mechanism for funneling bribes.”

BIDEN HAS FAILED PARENTS AND STUDENTS

• In his first 100 days, the Biden administration secretly worked with teacher union bosses to keep schools closed.
• The Biden administration forced many students to stay in online school longer than needed, hurting low-income students the most and setting low-income students back for life. 
  • Biden’s Department of Education later threatened even more “emergency” school closures despite evidence against their effectiveness.
• Biden’s Education Secretary Miguel Cardona declared that parents should not be the “primary stakeholder” in their children’s education.
  • The Biden administration has refused to acknowledge that parents know what is best for their children’s health and safety, instead saying “the president believes that public heath officials have the best guidance.”
• The Biden administration colluded with the National School Boards Association to call for an investigation of parents for “domestic terrorism and hate crimes.”
  • Biden’s own Attorney General even misled Congress about the DOJ’s role in this investigation.
  • This includes creating an FBI Counterterrorism “threat tag” for parents they may “investigate” just for attempting to be involved with their children’s education.
• Biden rescinded President Trump’s executive order banning critical race theory training in the federal government on his first day in office.
  • Biden’s Education Secretary Miguel Cardona has pushed to prioritize grant money for teaching critical race theory.
• Biden has failed to make “quality child care affordable” as many families could see their child care costs doubled under his Build Back Broke agenda.
• Biden has failed to expand school choice for those who need it the most.

BIDEN HAS FAILED TO PROTECT RELIGIOUS FREEDOM

• Biden’s Build Back Broke legislation blocks religious facilities, such as churches and schools, from using infrastructure funds for improvements.
• The Biden administration rescinded a Trump-era rule that protects the religious liberty of faith-based organizations that contract with the federal government.
• Biden supports the passage of the so-called “Equality Act,” which interferes with religious freedoms and could force faith-based organizations to close their doors.
• Biden failed to protect the rights of hospitals and insurers to refuse to provide services such as gender transitions on the basis of religious freedom.
• In July, the Biden administration “quietly” dismissed a Trump-era lawsuit against a Vermont hospital where a nurse was “allegedly coerced” into helping with an abortion despite her “conscience objections to abortion.”
• In August, the Biden administration allowed California to “violate federal law” and impede on the “conscience rights of Californians” who do not want to fund abortions.

BIDEN HAS EMBRACED ABORTION EXTREMISM

• Biden is now an abortion extremist, pushing taxpayer-funded, on demand, and unlimited abortion up until the moment of birth and after.
• In his first month in office, Biden revoked the Mexico City Policy, which previously prevented taxpayer funding for abortions abroad. 
• Biden’s 2022 budget called for the repeal of the Hyde Amendment, which protects American taxpayers from being forced to fund abortion.
  • This is the first time in 45 years a President’s budget did not prohibit federal funds from being used for abortion.
• In December, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Biden strongly supports the passage of the Abortion for All Act which would prohibit the government from imposing essentially any limitation on abortion.
  • In March, Psaki refused to say if Biden would force doctors with religious objections to perform abortions.

BIDEN HAS FAILED TO UNIFY THE COUNTRY

• Biden promised to govern “as an American president,” not a Democrat one, but he has spent his entire term pursuing a partisan, far-left agenda.
• Biden broke his promise not to “divide” America, repeatedly attacking unvaccinated Americans and leaving the country less unified than when he took office.
• “Unity” has not been delivered, with Biden instead embracing the radical left by working to fill his administration with far-left activists and issuing far-left executive orders at breathtaking speed.
